We spent only one night at the B&B. We were welcomed by Peter on our arrival at the property. He introduced us to this magical space in the middle of the forest and he explained how things worked there. Since the beginning he was super nice and polite with us, so we give a 10/10 to his personality. The location was perfect for us, as it was on our way to the south. We slept really well and early in the morning we received an amazing and tasty homemade breakfast. Another 10/10. I would just add it's a place far from the chaos of the big city, in the middle of the jungle, you definitely need a car to move around and get ready to be surrounded by nature.

Bliss. So peaceful on the deck, listening to the creek. A great place to meditate & relax. Serenity. Beautiful artworks with interesting stories. Peter & Steve were generous of their time with information & a book to read about Paronella Park. Stay here if you visit the Park & read more about the history. Breakfast choice was scrumptious, thankyou Peter 😋. A real BnB.

The Quietness of the place Great for retreat for disconnecting from busy place. The river flow sound is so refreshing with the wildlife. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast was very nice with freshly brewed coffee. Not instant like all the places I have been previously. Peter and Steve were very friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding , and also gave us space.

Not much as we knew before hand that we would be sharing bathroom. I can understand some people reaction if they aren't aware. But honestly it is a nice place to relax

Our host, Peter, was absolutely wonderful! Our bed was super comfortable. Although I didn't realise the guest roomswould be such close quarters we had our own private bathroom (newly renovated!) and a quiet balcony with a gorgeous view. Peter offered tea and coffee of a morning and was just lovely. It was a very comfortable and homely stay, with gorgeous running creek view below. Would definitely stay again!

Delicious breakfast made by Peter with fresh eggs, tomatoes, and toast. The facility is aptly named and is quite serene and an overall enjoyable view with overabundance of green and blue. Swimming in the river is a bonus as were the 2 dogs and cat, which were also great company. Also great coffee by Steve (loved the suggestion with the use of honey as a substitute for sugar)!

The bugs, but that is more a personal preference than anything. They certainly added to the experience of disconnecting from a busy life.

The setting in rainforest above a set of rapids in a lovely creek is amazing. This provides a 24hour ambient soundtrack. The sheltered eeck above the creek is a very relaxing place to be. Funky , interesting decor. Great hosts who are interesting to talk with and cook you breakfast and do your laundry.

Peter and Steve are great hosts. Their hideaway is eclecticly furnished and cosy. Nothing is too much trouble and Peter does great scrambled eggs for breakfast. Steve has the coffee pot brewed ready for the early riser. We really enjoyed meeting the dogs Dr Benson and Oscar (the grouch) and their cat who was less visible. We had the chance to spend some social time with others guests (no television). It felt more like two days with friends than just a B&B stop. If you don't mind having (well behaved) animals around, sharing facilities, the sound of a running creek and great hosts, you'll love this.

The amazing hosts, Peter and Steve, along with their fur babies, were absolutely wonderful and great company - we had such a great time and lots of laughs chatting to them (but equally if we hadn’t been up for a chat, am sure they would have left us alone after information and pleasantries). Peter cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning complete with amazing home made bread, and then offered us a tour of the gorgeous tropical gardens. The setting of the property is unbelievable and we even braved a swim in the creek at the bottom of the garden in the morning - bliss! The mattress and pillow were super comfortable too.

We knew this before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise and there were no other guests staying so it wasn’t an issue, but the toilet and bathroom (separate) are shared facilities pending renovations. If you don’t like animals, and are wanting your standard Airbnb experience (rather than a home stay) then this isn’t the place for you.

Peter is just an amazing host. Had super nice conversations with him and his place is just a delight to stay at. The place is indeed a tropical bliss and it is just uplifting to stay there. Bed was comfy, bathroom clean, dogs cute, do you need anything else?

I mean there are bugs, but what would you expect if you're in Australia?

Steve and Peter were friendly and welcoming. Their enthusiasm for their prooerty, and love for the beauty of the immediate environmemt was imfectious. They were generous with their time and their amenities, and i only wish i had had more time to absorb it all!!
