We stayed in bungalow 1 in August. It is located right on the on the most beautiful beach where we could walk out at any time. Very private front yard with a glorious plunge pool. The bungalows 1 is located next to an estuary which was a georgois view. Apparently a crocodile may live there but we never saw it. Driving around the area we had two separate sightings os Cassuwaries with their babies.... just glorious! Ate dinner at The Garage and had the yummiest mushroom pizza ever! Woke up to a beautiful ocean view through the large glass doors in the morning to heavy rain but beautiful to sit and watch it from the large balcony deck under verandah and ate complimentary toast, muesli and coffee. Left to get our voucher provided for free coffees and cocktails at the Elmandra resort. Geougous. The bungalow was just perfect. Mission beach proper was also georgous with the famous palm trees and board walk. Cannot wait to return and stay longer as one night was not enough!

I would probably return next year in October (not August) when the weather is warmer.

You have to give more detail how to find it and warn people with disabilities that it is a walk to the cabin. With all that I changed a reservation to go back this week. I loved it. If the weather was good it would be perfect.

it was impossible to find. The address in big letters is a big dump. I called the phone number given and no one knew anything. We headed back to leave and saw a little sign on a gravel road meters inside the rainforest. We were very lucky to see it. Then driving down the gravel road we were lucky to come across two people leaving. They worked for the Bidarra resort. They were enormous help. I could not walk the 150 steps to the cabin. They showed us how we could get there by car.

Unbelievable. Apart from the obvious, plenty of big fluffy bath towels, big beach towels, so clean, comfy bed, plenty of cleaning products, clean bbq, clean pool, lively touch leaving eggs, bread, orange juice, muesli etc for breakfast. Great value for money. Can see the sea from the room but trees still provide lots of privacy so quiet. Great fish and chips restaurant and enclosed sea area 15 minutes walk up the beach. Woolsworth is a 3 minute drive.

Well I cannot speak more highly of this accommodation. It was absolutely perfect. Just love the serene surrounds and the absolute privacy of this gorgeous place. The breakfast amenities were amazing- cereal, fruit, jams, butter, milk, eggs, orange juice, water, teas, coffee etc etc. The bed was large and so comfortable, beautiful bathroom, and fabulous pool. Lovely little BBQ. The location right on the beach was just perfect. Beautiful sunrises every morning. Could not have asked for any better. We have decided that this is a place we will definitely return to. Thank you.

Nothing it was perfect!

The location of the bungalows was perfect, right on the beach line. The breeze from the ocean blew straight into our room which was very relaxing. The complimentary breakfast and 2 free cocktail vouchers to use at the Elandra were a generous touch.

There was sewage water outside bungalow #3 (see attached photo) which started as a small puddle when we arrived but continued to get worse each day. As we were getting ready to leave on Wednesday, the smell became unbearable so we were happy not to be staying another night.

Where do I start, not only was the accommodation amazing but the staff were incredibly friendly and very welcoming. Upon arrival we were greeted by Marcus, who not only helped us with getting our bags from the car to our room but also gave us recommendations on what to do and where to eat. We were very impressed by the already filled fridge with all of the food and amenities needed to make an amazing breakfast the first morning. The Bungalow being situated right on the beach front was spectacular. Being able to hear the waves crash all day and night and the view of the ocean in the morning was incredible. Overall, both my partner and I loved the stay and will definitely be coming back again.

There was nothing that we didn't like about our stay. It was the perfect accommodation in the most perfect location.

Breakfast was great. The view was great. It was lovely hearing the waves when going to sleep at night and waking up to the sound of waves crashing onto the beach 🏝️

We did get help from staff to unload our car of our luggage to take to the Bungalow, but unfortunately it was a long walk back and forth to load the car back up. A little foldable pull buggy would be great that can take the weight of lots of luggage. Especially a suitcase etc, plus our camping fridge for food & drinks for the weekend. The rest of the stay was fabulous 🤩

We have stayed at Bungalow One twice now. We love the peace and access to the glorious beach. Saw a cassowary and his three chicks wandering across the path and into the creek area by the bridge. Vouchers for Elandra a nice touch, be prepared to stay for lunch!

Google instruction for releasing the child Loc on the microwave. Pathway could have some lighting at night.

Ir is really a very nice and remote property literally on the beach. The bungalow is rather spacious, nicely decorated, comfy and really private.

A bit of a disappointment was that the pool was way too cold for this time of the year. Hot water supply is not constant and the bathroom did not have a great ventilation (condensation).

Absolutely beautiful Bungalow, gorgeous setting right on beach, fabulous deck with a variety of seating options. The best beach ever, particularly for walking. A very relaxing five-day break. Breakfast hamper was excellent, generous quality supplies. Wonderful spacious bathroom with luxurious towels and toiletries. Excellent WIFI.

Cooking was limited with lack of BBQ tools, (which were supplied on request) and no container to use in the microwave, which we purchased. This was an issue as there is nowhere decent to eat in Mission Beach. The positioning of the BBQ made it difficult to access. The split system had no heating component so it was freezing, particularly on the 12C morning. No laundry facilities, which was annoying for a longer stay, but understandable in an off the grid property. We would have loved the pool to have been heated so we could use it.
