The location was great. Easy walk to beach, supermarket and quiet, even though it is on the main highway. The facilities were great - the self-cooking is excellent for kids, as I did was get the food. Also having the use of the laundry was helpful.

The pillowcases had not been washed, They smelled of sweat. I had to remove them and no we had no issues. The pillows were fine, as was the rest of the bedding. Rest of place was clean. The pool was brown. Stopped us from swimming but no dramas, we walked up to the town pool. I would still stay again.

Does the job, as far as budget accommodation goes, has all the facilities you would anticipate.

Booking process was confusing, thought I had paid with Booking.com as I put my card details in, then was informed I needed to pay over the phone with the Holiday Park. I should have read into it a little bit more, so I can't really fault anyone. I just thought it was confusing and not as smooth as other stays.

Location was good. Beds were very comfy, unit was very clean

Add sd sound proof room.. Could hear everything from both neighbours on either side. Banging doors and talking. Would of much preferred a hello how are you on arrival, instead of being told I'm early not once but twice and see the cleaner is still at your room. 30mins isn't really that early considering I had been in cardwell since 10am and check in was at 2

It was convenient, clean; has all the equipment we needed; super easy to book in and check out; great value for money

Second visit - stayed in Family Villa. Wonderfully set up. car under master bedroom window, private veranda looking out at garden and view of mountains. Csn sit at table and watch children play on the lawn while relaxing. Can watch tv from porch or inside. every kitchen utensil available plus electric frypan and two burner plug in. Full fridge, bbq areas outside, good laundry facilities, close to beach and best bakery I’ve ever visited. Had a wonderful relaxing time with day trips to various waterfalls. So pleased I went back. Villa had Wueen bed, two bunks and a single. Really good value and wish I could have stayed longer

Clean and simple. It's no frills but has everything you need. The reception communicated great and let us now how to get in without needing to check in first.

Pool needed some love and could do with some mozzie coils for the outside areas of the back villas.

Lovely checkin staff. Very helpful and welcoming. Studio room was great with well equipped kitchen. Loved the little private patio out front. Very short walk to beach and esplanade. And great tip about visiting Beachcombers for a beer!

Wifi not currently working. Ok for me as a short stay but if you were staying longer could be an issue.

Easy walk to cafes and eateries. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Clean amenities. Quiet, I could not hear any noise from the highway even though trucks were using it constantly.

The only thing missing was the stove top and bbq. In the information about the room when I was doing the booking it listed a stove top and a bbq on the balcony. I had to re shop and go get food suitable for the microwave 🤪

The room was spacious, air-conditioned, great location to the beach

The bed was small for two adults and the bed moved due to being on wheels,, no smart Tv, no extra blankets, grounds unkept
