Great place for a family holiday! We stayed in one of the beach front villas and it was excellent value for money! Stunning view with a BBQ on the patio which was brilliant. The staff were great—very accommodating and even allowed us to check in early since our room was ready before the standard check-in time. There were so many activities for the kids to enjoy. This will definitely be our go-to family vacation destination from now on!

There was a strong smell of fish in our freezer, we were unable to use it as the smell was too strong. Rest of the apartment was nice and clean.

The pool was really good and large enough for quite a few people to be in without feeling too close. Great location right by the beach for nice walks and not overdeveloped. We saw a cassowary walking casually around the park. Lovely gardens

We had an ensuite cabin which faced right on to the main road so there was some traffic noise. There was a 4 burner stove in the cabin which took up lots of bench space but there was only one frypan, no pots and only a soup ladle as a cooking utensil.

The cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed was so comfortable. Really impressed to have a dining table and 6 chairs inside and another table and 6 chairs on the verandah. It was quiet and peaceful, the cafe served a nice dinner and we loved being so close to the beach. The pool was great, fantastic the slide was big enough for the adults as well as the kids! Was very excited to see a couple of cassowaries in the gardens in the morning.

Upon arrival at our cabin we walked into water all over the floor near the fridge & kitchen area. It came from the fridge not working and the freezer part melting. Checked it and it was plugged in but wasn’t working. So plugged it in & out a few times and moved the fridge around and it started working again. No issues the rest of the stay.

Absolutely the Best! We absolutely love staying at Tasman Holiday Park – South Mission Beach! It’s our go-to spot for nearly every family vacation. The park is always clean, the facilities are top-notch, and the pool area is perfect—featuring a fun slide and a shady, shallow pool for little ones. The staff at reception are incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home every time. Thank you for consistently providing such an amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back!

We have stayed here many times. The cabins are always very clean and very comfortable. Office staff are always friendly and helpful too.

I wanted to use the oven in the camp kitchen (even though there was a microwave in the cabin) but it wasn't working. There should have been a sign stating it wasn't working. I looked for switches everywhere. There were no lights either, but I found the power box and turned them on. A couple were sitting there in the dark for ages. Other than that all was good.

We stayed in one of the renovated ensuite cabins. Everything was clean, crispy bed sheets , white towels, good water pressure. Shampoo , conditioner and body wash in shower. Close to the Beach. Great Pool, playground, friendly staff. Park has a small restaurant with good prices on meals and a small shop. Sundays live music from 3pm to 6pm After 8pm the area around the Cabins is very quiet

Supermarket woollies is a bit far away ….10 min drive The Restaurant at the camping ground is closed Mondays and Tuesdays

Everything! Super location, lovely apartment, clean, calm and quiet. The lady who checked us in and out was probably the nicest human we met on our month long trip. The stinger net is across the road and the beach is beautiful. We weren’t sure about staying in a caravan park as we hadn’t done it before, but this went way over our expectations. Pool was nice too. We will be back!

That we ever had to leave. Oh, and we didn’t see a cassowary- it we did see tracks!

1. Toilet smelled bad. We bought some exit mould and a toilet Smellie and that seemed to fix it 2. Lock on sliding front door doesn't work  3. Aircons have a switch to turn them on found under a light switch but not labeled 4. Ignition on gas stove broken but a lighter was provided 5. Says spa Villa on sign but it isn't, only has shower 6. Fan on low in main bedroom makes bad knocking sound 7. Limited parking if you have a boat

We were in a beachfront cabin which had amazing views.... the cabin itself was well appointed with everything you would need. We loved the outside deck with table and chairs and barstools to sit at and soak in the view while having a drink or 2. Built in bbq on the deck was a bonus! Resort pool is fantastic for young and old. Onsite cafe had great food, with nightly meal specials, and happy hour drink specials every night from 4pm!
