A lovely hotel in a quiet location with plenty of secure parking. A good-sized room with a generous veranda. Air-con was good - just as well in this summer’s heat. The owners were an absolute delight, both of whom spoke good English and were extremely helpful with advice and tips, eg when visiting nearby Cap d’Antibes/Port d’Antibes and the old city of St Paul de Vence itself, which was a 10 minute drive up the mountain to reach - well worth it! Stunning location. We had initially thought we could walk there but the proprietors kindly brought us to our senses. Breakfast was good and there did not seem to be any feeling of having to rush away by any time. All very relaxed. Whilst we did not use it, there is a lovely outdoor swimming pool on site.

The pool is the jewel here, very nicely presented and clean with plenty of loungers and parasols if needed. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful balcony, and the AC was very welcome. The Location is a little away from the action which was fine as we wanted somewhere relaxing and quiet and had a hire car so we visited Monoco, St Tropez, Cannes which are all very close. Joel the owner/manager is a star and looked after us booking restaurants and offering advice and overall we were very happy with our stay.

My wife and I were traveling with my elderly mother, who uses a walker. We booked two rooms and requested for one to be wheelchair accessible. Both rooms were clean and well appointed with a ensuite toilet/bathroom, fridge, large comfortable bed, large private terrace with a folding rack for drying laundry. There were no stairs to access barrier-free room, which was very large with a large ensuite. We felt fortunate our rooms were near the reception and breakfast bar and the large outdoor terrace. The terrace near reception has both covered and uncovered tables with nice lighting so we were able to enjoy a few drinks at night. The self-serve breakfast was amazing with breads/pastries, fruit, boiled eggs, cereal, various juices, etc. We didn't use the pool, but we could see it from our rooms. Games and books were available for guest use in the reception area. Joel was very attentive to our needs and he provided great recommendations for places to see and where to go for dinner. We had only one night booked and were expecting to book our next night in another town, but we were so impressed with Les Bastides Saint Paul that we extended our stay.

The hotel was exceptional in all respects, but it would be even better if basic guest laundry facilities were available. We were able to wash a few things in our rooms and the provided racks meant we could dry them on the terrace.

Loved Les Bastides - wonderfully comfortable beds and rooms and such a warmth of hospitality from the owners. Joel kindly picked me a lemon from their garden every morning for my hot water and lemon and couldn’t have done more to help us. We loved having the piano and my son and father both played. A very happy stay and couldn’t recommend it more. Great location too - 10mins to St Paul de Vence and Vence.

The owners went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was quite good and because we like hardboiled eggs instead of soft, Les made sure he cooked us eggs every morning and brought them to us. So nice! The pool is exceptional with shade and sun. Many guests, including us, spent afternoons by the pool soaking up the Mediterranean sun. Our room had a large balcony facing the pool. You have to have a car to get to St Psul and restaurants. We would recommend this hotel.

There is road noise from the highway, but with the door closed it is not a factor but can be distracting sitting outside. Our room was close to the highway, so ask for one that is further away.

This is a lovely independently run hotel. It is well located to easily day trip to St Paul de Vence, Vence, Valbonne, Antibes and many other local towns. The hosts Joel and Alla have created an atmosphere which will make you feel as if you are a guest in their home. It is the second time we have visited and would go back every year. It is peaceful, clean, comfortable, stress-free experience.

It is situated near a main road so sadly its not easy to walk to nearby villages. (You don't hear the road so that's not an issue). We did walk to St Paul de Vence. We used ubers successfully throughout our trip however and if you wish to visit places, hire a car or rely on ubers.

Cozy hotel in a good accessible location. The hosts are the most friendly and charming couple we’ve met on our travels. They did a very good job making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The pool was not huge, but nice and quiet and the late afternoons in the pool area were just magical. The hosts did give good recommendations for places to go and dine. Parking was conveniently placed just outside our room and overall, the logistics coming to and from the place were good. We had a family room on the lower level/basement level, which was kind of dark, but spacious. The good thing is that you’re not that much in the room, but instead we used the outside areas and our private patio with furniture for four people instead. The bathroom was nice and recently renovated, which is a big plus. We’ll gladly come back another time.

If there were family rooms with balcony/patio on higher levels and not only in sub-terrain/basement level.

Stayed in this place twice (once with my husband and the 2nd time with a couple of girlfriends). Both rooms were tidy and really clean. Host was very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent!! and the swimming pool looked very attractive (we didn't get a chance to swim). Double room was very spacious; the triple room was a bit crowded - but still larger then most hotel rooms in the area. Porches were nicely equipped with everything you need for a relaxed evening

In both rooms the bathroom was a bit outdated with bath instead of a shower. Could be a problem if you can't climb into the bath. Maintenance could be improved. Porch light did not work and the towel holder was loose and came apart at a slight touch. We only stayed for 1 night (each time), and I'm sure the owner took care of the issues after we mentioned them

Lovely welcome, owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Continental breakfast lots to choose from. Extremely clean rooms cleaned every day.Swimming pool was clean and comfortable we can't fault the hospitality

Nothing about the hotel. We booked to be near the wedding venue we were there for however, you would need to rent a car or rely on taxis and Uber in France was often difficult to get.

We stayed in this hotel 10 years ago on our last trip to the region and had such a nice time we stayed again. It was a great experience. Room was recently redecorated and was lovely. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered recommendations for dinner and sights. We really enjoyed breakfast on the patio overlooking the valley and beautiful gardening. Room had a roll in shower with both an overhead and a handheld showerhead.

In room fridge was on the small side.
