The villa was so modern, clean and roomy! Definitely more than we expected. We loved everything about it and although we were during off season, we could imagine how magical it is during peak season.
There are multiple properties at the resort so it’s a bit confusing figuring out where you’re actually staying. When we found our building, no one was at the front desk to let us in. There was a number posted on the door. I called and the person who answered told me that the front desk staff leaves at 3:30pm. Check in is at 4:00pm. How does that make sense? We were directed to walk across the other side of the village to check in at another property. It’s not the most efficient experience.

The location of this condo was amazing, we did not have to leave the building to enter the gondola. Very spacious condo that was advertised as one bedroom, but it had another private space that could have easily been used as the second bedroom. There were 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, large living room, and an extra work desk in the main bedroom. Everything was functional and clean. Parking was included. There were other facilities - gym and pool, but we did not use those. This was the best accommodation and a perfect place for either skiing or work or resting in the mountains.
I loved this place very much. Unfortunately, due to the storm, we left a day too soon and could not get any refund.

The spaciousness, great bathrooms, great kitchen, the Tahoe look and ambience in the villa and around the whole area. The proximity to the elevators and the villa. The proximity of the available parking. The friendliness of the few people that we did see there. The ice making in the freezer on site in the residence. The fireplace right there. And the location of the TV in the bedroom! And the bed was super comfortable! Loved the look of the king-sized 4-poster bed too! And great views out of the windows!
Nothing! Nothing not to like! Can't wait to come back!!!

The location was very quiet and surrounded by nature—I was woken up by the sound of birds singing, which was really nice. The unit was very spacious for two people and had every amenity you could need during your stay. The hot tub and sauna in the fitness/spa was great to use at the end of the day after a very long drive out to Truckee.
The room rate was very expensive. The check-in process is a bit confusing because you have to check in at a different location and follow a long list of instructions before you finally get to your room. The food establishments open late and close early (maybe because it’s the summer?) which necessitated us getting breakfast in the town of Truckee.

Ice rink
The only VERY negative thing was super loud noise your snow vehicle made EVERY single night at 2:30am!!!! Woke me up and my family every night! The village/resort is pretty dead, there is nothing to do except to ski. After 4pm, there are only a few dining options, food mediocre for those high prices. I would love to see this place more lively.

Beautiful property; super spacious and very clean. Everything on-site to contribute to a fabulous experience. Staff were outstanding. The family had a wonderful time and definitely want to come back at our next Tahoe vacation.
Nothing; it was an awesome stay!

Very nice location and size and amenities.
Did not get clear directions to the check in. It should be check in at the Hilton at the main drop off site. Then after getting temporary parking walk to the gondola and the lobby is next to it. Then you get a garage/room key and get your car and park on their garage.

Everything - the location and things to do in the village. Our kids enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. Live music to unwind while relaxing by the fire. Everything was quiet and peaceful. So clean. The staff were very helpful, welcoming and accommodating - we decided to extend our stay by a day and they were more than helpful. Our villa was beautiful, clean, spacious and provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. We prefer North Lake area versus South Lake for accessibility reasons and we find it very family friendly - we’ve stayed at a couple different area resorts/air b n b rentals and this was 100% our favorite, we will absolutely stay again! Already planning our next visit!

The property lies in the middle of the forest and next to the cable gondolas
The booking said it’s a three bed rooms villa and the receptionist confirmed it when I checked in but it turned out to be a 3 bed rooms apartment! What a surprise!

During off season, you pretty much have the place to yourself. Although a lot of the restaurants and stores are closed, my husband and I enjoyed how peaceful it was. We’ve never staying in the winter time but have visited north star and it gets pretty busy. Since winter season was over, we had no issues going in and out of North Star.
We did have a little bit of an issue checking into our room. One of the bathrooms was not cleaned and the main bed was not made all the way. There was also crumbs in the living room table and kitchen counter. We contacted the lobby and they had us transferred to the 5th floor with the same floor plan within a reasonable amount of time. (Plus!) They also extended our check out time which was wonderful! My husband and I were able to sleep in and we absolutely love their mattress!
