Very good location. Very new and clean.

Given the fact it's an apartment, it wouldn't be a bad idea to provide some washing machine capsules and some salt and oil for cooking.

Excellent facilities for a family of four with small children. Very comfortable bed, tv, dishwasher, oven/hob, microwave, washing machine and strong pressure shower. There is a supermarket near by where we bought some fresh produce and cooked in the apartment. We found it very comfortable and convenient to all local attractions and sight seeing. Straightforward to use the codes and the location was great! We will be booking again!

I could not fault it! Very well thought out with all the utensils you could need on a trip away from home! We were really happy there and felt I could relax!

We enjoyed our stay at the Alesund City Apartments located in Storgata 24. We stayed at the apartment for two nights while we explored Alesund and also enjoyed a day long catamaran fjord trip from the nearby port. The apartment was impeccably clean and had all the amenities one can hope for a comfortable stay. The apartment had a 2 in 1 washer/dryer which we did not have to use but it good to know we had access to. The beds and blankets were cozy and made for a restful night. The apartment came equipped with a full kitchen. We appreciate that the apartment came with full curtains. This allowed for proper rest given the sunset time in the month of June. The ferry port was within walking distance as well as many restaurants and shoppes. In conclusion, we recommend the Alesund City apartment for a family of 3 or more looking for a convenient location, a quality stay, and a need for extra room to stretch comfortably during a stay or need access to a full kitchen and washer/dryer.

Great location, 3 mins walk from bus station and port. Central for shops, cafes and tourist places. Good sized apartment with washer/ dryer, reasonable sized rooms with comfy double beds for a few nights stay. Dishwasher.

Limited kitchen facilities, huge fridge/Freezer but no microwave. Only one shelf in oven, no grill pan etc. no clothes airer for drying clothes, so had to hang wet clothes around the apartment randomly to dry.

Size and amenities

Could not get cooktop to work as there was no instructions Directions for check out were short and not very clear. When messaging for more clarity , no one got back to us. No recommendations on parking so we were pretty much on our own. Suggestions or recommendations from the owner would have been helpful

Great location, near Old Citi center and the harbour. Well planned and equipped ultra small apartment - enough to take a rest after an interesting day. Even washing machine/thimble dryer (combo). Beautiful facade of the house, with flowers in front.

Due location on the ground floor, next to the main entrance, you may hear quite noisy shooting front door in the night, but with an earplugs it was generally acceptable.

The apartments are well marked from outside. A very modern good-sized apartment with polished concrete floors. The shower was massive with good water pressure (need to byo soaps etc) Separate toilet. Kitchen is modern and clean and would use if needed. The long couch transforms into a double bed which was surprisingly comfortable. Luxurious bedding donnas and pillows. Excellent value and location being a short walk to bus/ferry terminal. A lovely outdoor area.

Perhaps the only minor downside was the air-conditioning which was set and locked to 21.5° and quite noisy. It may well be the normal way in Norway The Booking.com cover picture is very misleading - it was the reason I chose the apartments, but no big deal.

This was almost the best accommodation of our 2000-km road trip in 2023. Do not keep scrolling, choose this one! Its location and the access to the room is No1. I just love the way the whole place looks - it is a concrete-built, modern building with many small staircases and hallways, both inside and out. And the room was bigger and more liveable than I thought by the pictures. Finally the bad was the biggest one of our trip to Norway!

The only negative point was the air conditioning. Not because of its temperature but how the air flowed out of the tube on the ceiling. That is something that the owner should take into account.

I thought this was a fantastic apartment. It was super clean, very quiet and comfortable. It had absolutely everything I needed for my stay.The location was excellent - very close to the old town and local attractions. A short walk to the ferry and bus stations. There are supermarkets and a good gym close by. The beautiful lookout and running trail are a short distance from the apartment.

That I didn’t book for a longer stay. The bed was a little soft for my taste but that is a very personal preference.

Great location.

It was very tight for a family of 4 but we knew that from reviews and we needed a place close to the port so it was fine. Once the couch bed is out there is not much room to move around. The 4th floor was extra work for the luggage.
