This a really lovely Italian hotel with an outstanding restaurant featured in the Michelin guide (La Pecora Negra) - we had an amazing meal there - absolutely superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel because the staff and the owner are so helpful and happy, the hotel is spotless, it's in a really safe quiet area and it's very authentic and well run establishment.

This is an older hotel so in a few respects it's not as modern perhaps as other hotels, but that was really minor as it's art deco authentic style shines through and the other factors listed above hugely outweigh any minor (very few) less positive factors, in my view.

This is the third time I have stayed the at this hotel. The property is very well appointed, and all the staff we encountered were all polite and very helpful. The rooms were large, very clean, comfortable and well furnished. We enjoyed the breakfast which offered an excellent choice and of good quality. We ate in the restaurant, which provided a superb meal in beautiful surroundings. I believe the costs represented good value for money. I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Location to railway station was good, easily walkable. Plenty of time for breakfast, with an excellent selection. Our room, although on the fourth floor was easily accessible by lift and of a generous size with a balcony. The size of the room was possibly due to the fact we stayed for a week! The cleaning regime was excellent, very helpful staff.

The large double bed, although comfortable, was very firm. Would have liked a smaller menu in the evenings, the Ala Carte was large and expensive but of course you can eat out, depends on your requirements.

I have stayed 7 days in this stunning hotel and it was excellent from check-in till check-out. The staff was very friendly and always greeting me with a smile, even I noticed they were doing long shifts. Thank you for making our stay memorable! The hotel has an amazing and quiet location, the train station is in 3 mins walking distance. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The AC was well maintained. The WiFi was fast and constant. Breakfast was plentiful and I especially liked the wide range of fruits and pastries. We had nice breakfasts every morning on the terrace. We definitely would stay here again.

Amazing reception area with glorious floral display, elegant dining and breakfast room, generous and varied buffet breakfast. The bedrooms were stylish with superb views towards Montecatini Alto, great to wake up to! The location of the hotel meant that we were close to all the amenities of the centre - 10 minute stroll to the station. We were a small group of seven and couldn't have been looked after with more care and attention. I have to say something about the really lovely staff - they were charming, welcoming and made our stay!

Nothing ! It was a perfect stay

It is a classy hotel, whose architecture and personality I immediately liked. I liked the high ceilings, the terraces that "flowed" beautifully from the inside, the plants that marked the terrace where you could enjoy a tea or a coffee. The rooms were spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful windows. Very generous breakfast with quality products. We also appreciated the kindness of the staff who gave us valuable pointers and advice. I would love to come back here.

The bathroom door creaked

Breakfast was really nice, the location of the hotel was close to the train station and all local shops. Our room was nice, wish we had booked a bigger room to take advantage of the kettle in the room. Loved the court yard outside.

Not having a kettle in our room but we now know for future to book a bigger room to get this, but you can have a kettle in your room for a small fee but felt we didn’t need to as we had paid for breakfast and enjoyed a coffee in the court yard afterwards

This hotel is exceptional! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the care and attention is all around you. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast superb. Dinner in both the main dining room and La Pecora Nera were perfection on a plate. Location is again perfect. A short walk to the station and main shopping area. The tourist information centre is close by too. The funiculare for Montecatini Alto is either a short walk of 10 Euro taxi ride from town.

Very good hotel: location, food, service everything was really good. But special thanks to the Hotel Team, all above mentioned without people will not work and make comfortable stay. Our best wishes to the hotel team!!!

The furniture is a little bit old, but it is not critical at all… Bath set (shampoo, conditioner and gel) highly recommended

Location was exceptional. However when I tried to walk from the train station to the Hotel, I found out there are 2 train stations in this city. The one I disembarked at was much more than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. Hotel lobby, reception and breakfast areas were very appealing. Well kept hotel.

Old style key entry to room was cumbersome. Was difficult for me to get door unlocked (senior with arthritis).
