Lovely location, very close to the station, plenty of lovely bars, restaurants and parkland. Room was basic but a decent size, was cleaned every day to a very high standard. Vincenzo was very friendly and always around if you needed anything. Check in nice and easy. People have mentioned about the shower, we didn’t have any issues and didn’t mind the wet room set up.

Would have liked access to enable a tea or coffee to be made. Did find the outside noisy, not the hotels fault just the area. Ear plugs would help

It was the best hotel/hostel I've stayed at in my whole life. The interior had so much personality and character. The manager was extremely helpful and had little maps prepared where he would mark the things we asked about like a restaurant, pharmacy or atm. It was a small and cosy place with a warm atmosphere. Always a couple of senior Italians in the lobby or outside who was happy to chat with us despite our broken Italian but the manager showed us how to us Google translate which made it easier! It was a 10 min walk from the station, 10 min walk to the funicolare, 10 min to all the spas. Everything was within 10min and there was a restaurant and a pizzeria just across the street. This is the perfect place if you want a simple and wonderful place to stay.

This Albergo was excellent value for money. A family run albergo it was spotless with perfectly good , modest rooms and a good breakfast on a terrace in the morning. It is in a great location, near the Terme and the Funicolare and close to the centro but in a pretty quiet spot. The couple that run the place were very kind and helpful to us and even found us a usb charger plug to charge our phones! Free parking close by too!!

Helpful communication with the hotel beforehand, friendly and welcoming reception, easy to locate in a calm area of town close to the centre and the station. The hotel was managed with homely professionalism - welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient: a family atmosphere with high quality service.

I liked everything.

A very beautiful, antique, well-taken care of hotel. Truly speaking the hotel as a whole was very clean and good looking, the rooms as well were cleaned daily and there were no problems. The staff were very nice and helpful, and understanding when we had a difficult situation.

Nothing, everything was great. The doors were a little hard to close but that is nothing.

The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Pastries, bread, croissants and various meats and cheeses. Plus fresh fruit . The manager, Vincenzo, was very helpful and available for advice. He used his Google translate to communicate with us … sometimes with strange results!

Booking.com did not advise that the restaurant was closed for the season and that was a good draw for guests. However there were many restaurants close by.

The comments contained so many complaints about the shower. I took a shower, yes the floor and the toilet got wet, but everything was dry in an hour because there was a drain. The staff was very helpful and found a secure place for my bike. Very good value.

The hosts were very welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay and the accommodation and breakfast perfectly adequate for our needs. I have rated everything highly with the cost in mind; it was excellent value for money.

Location: really central. Across the hotel is a small bar that does cheap lunches. And everything else is a within a 10 minute walk. Breakfast: Breakfast was a selection of cereal, yogurts, fruit, cake, cold meats, cheeses, breads and more. When I told the host that I was vegetarian, they made sure to make me a little salad everyday as I wasn't getting any meats, which I thought was really sweet. Wifi: Wifi was really good for making video calls and such. The real highlight though, is the hospitality of the hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.

It's an older hotel, so some of the facilities aren't new, but that's all part of the charm.

Lights in room not good. Wery dark. Recomend for ovner change lamps. Aircon in 1 of ordered room not working. All the rest was super.
