Verónica and the other staff at La Posada del Recovero are incredibly nice and helpful. They were easy to approach and talk to about any needs I had, and they were very responsive.

As I am vegetarian, it would have been nice to have more breakfast options. But the coffee was great!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped us out with all the questions we had. Even though there was a language barrier, we managed to communicate well. The rooms were clean and cosy. All in all, we are very happy out stay and would come back.

The only thing that disappointed us a bit was the breakfast. From earlier comments about that property, we had the impression of an amazing Spanish breakfast, but we would say it was a quite simple one. There were fruit, ham and cheese, bread, some muffins etc. The breakfast did therefore not meet our expectations but it was not bad. However, we only took breakfast once at our stay.

We wanted to stay overnight as Genalguacil is over two hours from where we were staying and we wanted plenty of time to explore and see all the art on display around the place. So finding this little hotel right in the middle of the pueblo was perfect. The room and bathroom were well equipped, the bed very comfortable, dinner and breakfast tasty. And Veroníca was an excellent host - friendly and full of advice.

Spotlessly clean guest house in the beautiful art town of Genalguacil. La Posada del Recovero is a treasure! Air conditioned room with silent ceiling fan, power shower, and the ever attentive Manager Gloria who was very responsive on WhatsApp and so helpful. Amazing and very comfortable stay in the height of summer. The town carpark is very close to the hotel, which is near the beautiful plaza with it’s white church and stunning views over The Valley. Highly recommended!

Cosy little guest house, more than worth the price. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit and good coffee, Gloria and Veronica were very friendly hostesses, serving also home-cooked dinner by request. Would like to return to this peaceful little village and La Posedo del Recovero.

Very nice lodging in a beautiful town, centrally located. We parked in a lot a five minute walk away. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was delicious. The room was pretty, comfortable and nice bathroom.

We wish dinner was served earlier than 8:45 pm. There are not many food options in town.

This is truly a fabulous hostel, my stay there was faultless. The town is a living museum, there is amazing artwork spread throughout the town. All the people there are really friendly and I never felt like I was intruding in their enchanting pueblo. The hostel is run by Veronica who is very professional, warm and friendly(& also a very good cook). The hostel also has a restaurant which makes delicious traditional Andalusian dishes. The Wi-Fi at the hostel is awesome considering it's remote location. The town has an olympic swimming pool which is included in your stay. If you want to completely "get away from it all", this is the place! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautifully clean. Very comfortable bed. The food was delicious and very generous portions. I had dinner and breakfast and at a very good price, I might add. Gloria and Vero were so helpful and friendly. I had a lovely stay.

In the center of the town, 50 m from the parking lot. Quiet, relaxed, cozy. Toilet big and clean Heating and AC Comfy bed. Kind staff. Dinner and breakfast options. Daily cleaning.
