The location - OMG, so perfect. Tucked down a quiet street just a block from the stunning Ronda arches, and right in the most fascinating part of old town with all the narrow whitewashed cobble streets. Easy walk to all the restaurants across the gorge and the cliffside walks. Neat view from the little porch up on the roof. My ground-floor room initially felt a bit cavelike with the windows closed. But then I opened the old two-part windows and found myself in a little paradise looking out at the historical buildings all around me. The ground floor room ended up being perfect on our hot 42-degree-C days because it stayed pleasantly cool even without the good aircon unit, and had a comfy bed. A perfect siesta retreat! Bathroom just fine. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The price to be in a comfy cool room right in old town was definitely a deal! And soooo quiet in that part of town, except for the soothing trickle of the nearby fountain (and of course the peacock in the courtyard!).

Not much to improve at all - room was a little plain, but at the price that's what I expected. When I was there I may have been the only guest which felt a little lonely. I understand in the high season it's a more bustling place.

Fabulous location, short walk from the bridge. We knew from reviews it would be a simple room, and it was, but the bed and pillows were comfy and we slept well. Light airy room, with shutters, and you can hear some voices as people walk by, but this wasn’t a problem to us, it wasn’t noisy at all. One thing we could hear was the peacocks calling, which we loved. There are a number of peacocks walking by the area, a wonderful thing to see . Small bathroom, but great hot shower, no complaints at all. Breakfast not supplied, but lots of cafes nearby that provide breakfast. Lady who owns this establishment, also runs a restaurant a stones throw away. So she was always contactable, and provided her telephone number if you had any queries. Our room was ready early, 12 noon which we appreciated. Would stop here again, excellent value for money.

The property is clean but had some issues. Checkin was more challenging than normal. The owner was very responsive when I reached out by phone though. This could have been a booking.com issue. I’m not sure. The shower head was broken, ( I let the owner know and it should now be fixed. ) when we sat down in the evening for a glass of wine, there was only one wine glass. I am sure some have been broken by visitors and this is one of the things that gets overlooked when a cleaning service is used. Over all, these were minor things and we enjoyed our stay.

The location was spectacular! Located on the corner of a cobblestone intersection next to a walkway with spectacular views of the gorge, puente nuevo and the valley below and the center of town was within minutes walking distance. We had a simple, quiet, and comfortable room on the ground floor with wooden shutters. You could hear the occasional sound of voices and people walking on cobblestone, which to me is charming. Peacocks roamed outside. Oprah, the woman who met us at the hotel, has a gruff sort of direct manner but she’s was very helpful. We were headed for Cadiz and after she checked the bus schedule (5 1/2 hours by bus because it takes the coastal route!) she told us about the Bla Bla car ride share app. We ended up taking a bla bla car direct to Cadiz which was only 1 1/2 hours We used bla bla for our entire trip! She let us keep our luggage at the hotel, while we went to have breakfast in the morning which was convenient. I should mention that we arrived, there was a doorbell with a telephone number and we had to call to let Oprah know that we had arrived so that she could let us in. She arrived promptly which we appreciated.

Everything was great. Actually I don’t have any complaints. The one thing I would point out is you must have cell service in order to call and let the Hotel know you have arrived. Maybe to most people that’s not a big deal but I did not have cell phone service so my sister made the call.

It was great how we were guided to reach the hotel while the city was closed due to the semana santa processions. We could reach the hotel without any problem.

It was cold and the electric heater in the room was not working. There was coffee and tea in the room, which is agreat feature, but there was no kettle. As we stayed only for one night we couldn't ask the staff about it.

Very central. In Arab quarter. Near famous bridges, the water mine and nearly everything of interest a simple walk. Peacocks from nearby garden came to visit and sundown. Still very quiet place. Would stay there again positively

Tiny streets made use of car difficult. Public parking three blocks away though. Ed sheets were tiny and I tended to pull them out while sleeping. The shower is tiny and there may not be enough security for us older folks as it’s a bit slippery.

Quaint, charming, boutique-ish hotel. Simply and completely furnished room with everything we needed. Located close to the”The Bridge” over the gorge, with restaurants close, however, on a short street without the noise of the main street.

Nothing!! It was wonderful, private, felt safe, felt like we could relax and enjoy. Audra was great!!

This was a one star hotel. I booked it for its location and on previous comments. It was spotlessly clean, had coffee making facilities in the room, hot water and a powerful shower. Although I did not realise I had booked a one star hotel, it met our criteria completely.

Our confirmation said check in until 8pm. Apparently that is not true. Check in is only until 6pm. Aubra, at reception stayed an extra 2 hours to check us in and get us comfortable. She made good local recommendations. Great location just next to the New Bridge. Nice to have a kettle and treats in the room.

comfortable bed, hot hot shower, close to everything but somehow quiet…except for the wandering peacocks, which charmed me. There is a surprise rooftop area with views of the ancient city. skyline. Aubra was very helpful.
