We loved absolutely everything about the hotel. It is a beautiful historic building but with every modern comfort and a lovely atmosphere; it is in the perfect location for exploring Ronda; it has beautifully decorated public areas and our room (number 2) was amazing - spacious, light filled and comfortable with a huge bathroom; all of the staff are so welcoming and helpful; the breakfast is delicious (we also dined in their Pura Cepa restaurant and loved it) So happy that we picked Hotel Palacio de Hemingway for our trip and would return in a heartbeat.

We loved everything

A great welcome and booking in service from Paola who was very helpful and charming throughout our stay. Very comfortable beds, Superb a la carte breakfast with lovely staff - particularly Alejandro who could not have been more helpful. The room was quiet even though we were very much in the centre of Ronda and the location was excellent especially as we had torrential rain for some of our stay - so being able to return to the hotel quickly and easily was a real bonus.

Others have complained about the lack of central heating in the bathroom but we found the provided fan heater perfectly adequate.

The staff, the location, and the beautiful decor. The beds were very comfortable! Also the restuarant had a fabulous breakfast. We had dinner there one night that was wonderful. The famous bridge is just a 3 minute walk and you are there!!!

Rooms are not sound-proof. One night the couple next door were arguing in hall and in their room and it was not a pleasant conversation very late at night. Additionally they had a plug in air-scent freshener. This is not good, especially since I am sensitive to chemical smells. Once unplugged and put in drawer- all was good! We were there during low season which I am glad as it is a busy part of town next to the bridge so there is a small place to park car to unload. Parking garage a nice walk, a ways away.

The location is perfect for central Ronda,the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We did the wine tasting in the hotel which was very informative well presented and worth doing if this is your thing. The food in the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. While not being the cheapest Overall this is a fantastic hotel,we would definitely stay here again and we would definitely recommend.

Can not say there was anything we didn't like as such really, however the room we had (10) was directly over the bar/restaurant so there was noise from below when in our room,this did not effect us too much after a couple of drinks in the bar ourselves helped and the bar was not open too late.

The double aspect room has the best views. A valley going away from the town on one side and the lit terrace and Main Street on the other. Room 8. The bathroom and bedroom are exceptionally well decorated; sympathetic to the era and style of building. The bed duvet and pillows are very plush and the TV has a few English speaking channels. The wine bar staff, where we had breakfast and evening meals are fabulous - as is the food and choice of beverage.

Due to the age of the property it is a little noisy. There is no parking at the property itself although there is a secure parking garage at the end of the Main Street where you can park for €16 for 24 hours. You can leave luggage in reception whilst you go and park.

The hotel was beautiful, nicely decorated and a perfect location. Photos are like the reality. Bathroom was beautiful with RITUALS toilet products. Breakfast was delicious. Peronal was nice and helpful. Rental car was parked in a nearby parking which has an agreement with the hotel.

We booked two bedrooms: a standard one for our teenagers and a superior one with a city view for us. The problem is that our bedroom was so bad isolated from the noise and the street (even in February) was a busy street (cars). Maybe the paving of the road increases the noise. Anyway, it was fine for one night, but I would not have stayed in this room longer (too noisy). Too bad, because everything was perfect otherwise !

This hotel is fabulous. Elegant and classic, it is definitely a reminder of the past. Lots of dark wood, antique style furniture, thick drapes, chandeliers. Just beautiful. And, combined with all modern amenities, it's a perfect place to stay to escape and experience a little bit of old school luxury. A la carte breakfast is quite exceptional, too - don't miss out on this! Perfectly located near the gorge and just on the edge of the heart of real Old Ronda. The outdoor terrace is a great place to sit and watch the world by, over a vino or two. A beautiful place to experience.

It is a small and lovely hotel. The rooms are not big but are beautifully laid out- a lovely bathroom! The bed was very comfortable. There is a terrace that adjoins the hotel and serves a wonderful breakfast. We were also able to enjoy a late night drink. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage after check out while we continued touring for the day.

It isn’t immediately obvious where the hotel is but once found can be a little hard if there is traffic to stop to unload luggage. Parking is about 500m away but is safe.

This visit was a complete success for us at this hotel. We were made welcome from the moment we entered the hotel. Our room was comfy and big enough for us and our bags. The location is just right, being near the famous bridge and and a relatively flat area to walk around, and close to eateries and shops. The breakfast was one of the best I have experienced. Plenty of options and healthy ones too. We also had a meal in the hotel during the evening. It was excellent quality and well presented. The staff were exceptional when we had the unfortunate experience of being accosted and pickpocketed. They spent time phoning our bank and speaking Spanish to cancel the card. We will be forever in their debt. Many thanks to them all.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in this hotel, the staff was exceptional, super helpful and the awesome receptionist even let us choose from two available rooms which we found very thoughtful. The hotel is very well designed, with great attention to detail that takes your breath away :) Location is great, very close to the famous bridge in Ronda and the restaurant next to the hotel is awesome even for just a glass of wine. We also had breakfast included in the price of our stay which was a la carte and absolutely delicious, staff everywhere was super nice and helpful!

Parking is a bit further from the hotel, approx 400 metres but that’s understandable given the location very near the historical centre of Ronda
