Great location in the old part of town, about 5 minutes stroll to the Puento Nuevo. Lovely old manor house with lots of history. Staff are very friendly although some have limited English - but that's our problem not theirs! They do have 24 hour reception so okay if your are likely to arrive late. Breakfast is excellent with good choices. Well located for exploring the town and surrounding areas such as the gorge and Arab Baths etc.

No car park of their own - their is a big municipal car park off the square less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Make sure you check in first before parking as they get a discount and will give you a ticket to use at the car park. A bit narrow to park outside the hotel for loading and unloading but generally OK. Breakfast room is small and can get busy. As the place is very old expect some quirky bits with electrics and bathrooms!

This is a super central hotel in Ronda, where you are close to all touristic attractions. If you are driving in, you can park nearby the hotel and the staff gives you a card, which you can use to park your car somewhere nearby with a reduced price. The hotel was super authentic, and romantic. This time I travelled with my friends but I most certainly want to come back with my girlfriend. Staff also made a really nice gesture. We had to leave a bit early in the morning and they prepared breakfast for us earlier than their breakfast hours. It was a really good breakfast, too.

This is just a small comment and I didn't really mind but the estate is really authentic and old that's why some small things looked like they needed small renovation. Such as door knobs, etc. Which is as I said not a dealbreaker at all.

Beautiful historic hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are ornate antiques, paintings, and wood carving everywhere which added to the atmosphere. Our room was large with a massive bathroom (and bathtub)! The bed was very comfortable. Everything was so clean. It was easy to walk to anywhere in Ronda. The people at the hotel helped us arrange a taxi to visit the Cueva de la Pileta about 30 minutes away (and worth the trip for sure as long as you can climb a LOT of stairs). We had breakfast at the hotel one day. It was very good with a lot of options but was a little pricey at €16. We would absolutely stay here again!

We were woken early by the scent of baking pastries at the restaurant. 😉

The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to many of the interesting historical places and sights of Ronda. Whilst there was no parking at the hotel, I was able to temporarily park my car at the entrance, unload bags and check in. Hotel staff gave me a parking access card for a reduced fee, so I was able to park the car and walk back a short distance to the hotel. Remember to use the same card to leave the car park, drive back to the hotel to pick up bags, and return the card to the hotel staff. The hotel itself was a lovely old building. We walked everywhere we wanted to visit from the hotel and had a wonderful stay in Ronda. I'd certainly go back again if it is possible in the future.

Nothing at all.

The moment you step into the light-filled atrium of this stunning hotel, you realise you are about to have a unique experience. A warm and gracious welcome from hostess, Isabel, confirms that first impression. Antique furniture, beautiful paintings and plants take your breath away. There are bookshelves everywhere, crammed with volumes old and new. Bedrooms follow the same tasteful theme. Staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful . There’s even a mini Cinema Room ! Continental breakfast is varied and substantial. Overall, a superlative haven to soothe the soul.

Absolutely nothing.

I arrived late due to rail disruptions, but the staff were reassuring by messaging and warm and welcome on Arrival. The room was exquisite, and as we had had a cold rainy period before, the heated floor in the (huge!) bathroom was very welcome. I hadn't planned to have breakfast at the hotel - as a coeliac it can be problematic - but the concierge reassured me they were able to cater for me. As I only had 24hrs in Ronda I decided not to waste time looking for an appropriate breakfast venue and take their offer. I had such an array of foods I ate sooo much and didn't have to look for lunch till 3pm! The Hotel offered to hold my luggage while I walked Ronda which was the last part of a stay characterised by care and comfort. Can't wait to go back!

The bathroom door wouldn't catch properly. You have to really keep pushing it to close.

Hotel Location was very good with close by public parking. If you are not used in driving in tight road lanes common in these type of older communities, recommend you google map El Castillo parking lot as it is the nearest public parking to the hotel instead of driving up to the hotel with tight parking next to a narrow one way cobble street . The El Castillo parking lot is a bit confusing as you enter past the automated gate with level 1 parking (nivel 1 in Spanish) on the right (limited number of parking spots , level 2 into the left but turn right at the end alleyway towards the rear of the building . It is less than 10 minutes walk to the hotel via the back alley ways. Hotel staff was attentive and good explanations what to see in Ronda. We got the Presidential Suite which is a beautiful multi rooms and large whirlpool shower and off closet for bidet and WC, double sinks just like the photos but the whirlpool jets are purposely not functional due to local sanitary regulations but there is no posted sign to warn the guest - I told staff there should be a sign so not to fill the huge tub as wasted so much hot water and disappointment to no whirlpool jets to relax in - I think better for the hotel to just post no whirlpool use on the booking . Com website for full transparency as it is an appealing reason to select the Presidential Suite . The Hotel is surrounded by other buildings so do not expect grandiose views but it is a quiet residential area. Walking access to the main highlights are super convenient !!! If you are a light sleeper and want to sleep late in the morning,, consider some ear plugs as corridor door s and walls are not well sound insulated and you can hear morning conversations with guests leaving.

See above - in all consideration , I would revisit this hotel.

This classy hotel is part of the Soho Boutique group and is located near the middle of town and is top quality. Even has a picture of Rick Steves on the wall who recommended it in his book on Spain. Excellent reception staff with friendly Maria and Isabel giving us good advice on restaurants and activities, both speaking excellent English. The room was spacious, nice mini bar with free boxed water in small containers easy to carry and the was very quiet. Breakfast was very good with good wait staff Reme and Hanan. Highly recommend this property.

Signage to locate the hotel needs improvement. The sign on the street leading to the hotel, which travelers depend on, was misleading, stating only "San Gabriel" so we almost missed the street as we were looking for the actual name which is Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel so be careful.

The hotel is situated in the quiet old town and is within easy walking distance of everything. The room was huge, with comfortable beds and plenty of space and an amazing large bathroom. Minor point the bedroom could have done with a chest of drawers. Lovely breakfast with plenty of variety from pastries to cereal to yogurts to cooked breakfasts and the staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

All very good.

Excellent for a trip to Ronda. It is a very charming hotel, you feel in the mood of the city, like traveling in time. Parking is not so near (250m), but it is not an issue - you can stop the car in front of the hotel to get your luggage, then go to park the car. Streets are narrow but easy. Arriving in the middle of the afternoon, I could let the car until to the same time the next day - the hotel can store your luggage after checkout. But it is a public parking. I did not try the breakfast at the hotel. The room we had was big, with a big bathroom as well, and had a fridge. The staff was very helpful and communicative. The location is perfect for Ronda - it is in the old town, near everything (the city is small), near the walls, and very near the famous bridge to the newer city across the "tajo", with all the restaurants and the Maestranza, and the Cuenca jardines.

No issues. Just mind the distance to the parking provided by the hotel (250m).
