Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed fresh fruit, bread and local products for breakfast. The staff were kind to make us something with eggs (we are vegetarian). The location could not be better. 10 minutes walk from bridge and all major landmarks. Really good exercise to go up and down the stairs :-) The hotel itself is cute and has a lovely architecture and interior design. We truly enjoyed our stay at Alavera de los Baños and will go back if we are in the area next time.

check-in. Without a smartphone these days checking in a nightmare. It is not just about Alavera de los Baños; this is the trend in most parts of Spain.

The property, decor and the outdoor areas were lovely. We had a great continental breakfast sat outside on the terrace and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We especially liked the en-suite bathroom and bath. We ate in the town in the evening and it was quite a steep walk into the town but very picturesque alongside the river valley. All in all a lovely stay and are planning to return in September.

Everything was great and no complaints

Lovely small hotel which has easy access to Rondas attractions (although via steps) but in a quiet and peaceful location. Breakfasts are wonderful and lounge, patio and pool areas lovely with great views and comfortable surroundings so easy to relax after a day's sightseeing. Thoroughly recommend especially if you don't want a big chain hotel and somewhere to chill after busy days out. Recommend getting one of balcony rooms for views and privacy.

This wasn't an issue for us but no evening meal service in hotel. Can hear noise from corridor outside room quite easily but not a big problem as was clientele weren't rowdy party goers.

The accommodation is beautiful very nice decor beautiful surroundings very peaceful and felt like a luxury spa type of place. The staff were lovely the breakfast was very good lots of fruit and served to your table something for every taste. The pool and surrounding areas were of nice vegetation and flowers. Felt like being in nature

The only thing was maybe the coffee it could have been a bit stronger that's really down to personal taste though otherwise all was lovely

The hotel is small, but perfect for where it is located. The building itself may not be historic, but it is quite a few years old, and staying there instead of a hotel with a modern touch made us happy. The staff is extremely friendly, willing to engage in conversation about the city. We were not aware in advance that they offer horse riding packages, and we could not fit that into our predefined itinerary, but I bet is a great activity with the geography around the city. Having breakfast outside (as an option) overlooking the landscape adds to the charm of the place.

The garden and outside seating areas were wonderfully relaxing, with various shaded areas to sit both in the garden and when at the pool. We had a balcony that was great to sit at in the cool of the evening. The area was very quiet and yet only a ten to fifteen minutes walk to the busy historical centre.. We loved the location and would have liked to have stayed longer. The bedroom we stayed in was small as was the bathroom, but the property grounds made up for this. I would love to spend more time chilling out at this property. Highly recommend

Had to take care walking down the stairs from the old town as these are slippery, Fortunately there were hand rails in parts which helped, also taking my shoes off made the walk safer.

A stunning small boutique hotel in a quiet location just out of the old town but within walking distance to all the wonders of beautiful Ronda. The staff were so welcoming and the breakfast included was healthy and delicious! The pool was a good size and lovely to swim in with plenty of sun loungers. The gardens are incredibly lovely and everything is well maintained. We enjoyed the access to the communal mini bar and tea & coffee making facilities. This hotel is a unique and special experience while you are in Ronda - highly recommended and I feel sure we will return one day! Hello

Everything was absolutely perfect!

I hesitate writing this review, because I don’t want my secret to no longer be a secret!! This place is a jewel!!! It’s the real deal and soooo lovely. The staff is so wonderful, and the grounds are peaceful and beautiful! The rooms are not updated, so they’ve maintained their old charm. Breakfast is yummy!! I will be back over and over and over!!

Nothing!! For me, it’s paradise.

The tranquility of the building, gardens and setting was excellent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The main lounge and breakfast room is beautifully decorated and nicely furnished with style. The honesty bar means you can enjoy the space even when reception is closed. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are heated and warm. Room 2 was really quaint and nicely decorated. It had a french door onto a terrace with access to the lovely garden, with lovely views up to the mountains and downhill to the equestrian centre.We loved the place, and asked to stay another night. We are both in our sixties and found the 7 minute walk uphill to the town, and back down to be acceptable. Wear sensible shoes for the climb. The town is on a bit of a plateau, so whilst there are beautiful views into the valley and mountains on most sides - most of the town is walkable.

In room 2 there is a slight smell of drains in the bathroom - we left the window open. It wasn't bad enough to spoil our stay - and we'd go back again.

Quirky boutique style B&b with wonderful hospitality. The communal areas are filled with stylish objects and art books and the well tended garden is reminiscent of Jardin Marjorelle with painted blue pots filled with lush greenery and palms - a gem of a find

If I had to find a negative it would be the mattress was a little on the uncomfortable side. But that is a very minuscule niggle amongst many many pluses
