You are booking this accommodation for the view, and the view is one of the best you can have in Ronda. Incredible visibility over Puente Nuevo plus the proximity of all the major attractions make this place an amazing choice. The room was spacious, clean and with great AC, and the host was very friendly and patient with my broken Spanish.

The Wi-Fi signal in my room was not the best but that didn't bother me. The main issue, as many pointed out might be the fact that there is only one bathroom on multiple rooms.

I booked the full apartment with my own bathroom so I can’t speak for the other rooms. I really enjoyed my stay here, it was exactly what I was looking for. The bathroom and kitchen were nice. The latter had plenty of utensils and appliances so you could cook food or wash your clothes etc. The view from the terrace is incredible, one of the best views I’ve ever had from any accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. The location is fantastic. Really close to all the shops etc. I arrived by train and left by bus. The train and bus station are both less than a mile away and I easily walked it. The WiFi was a little patchy at certain times of day but mostly worked fine. The price was very reasonable too.

To check in you need to call the number on the door and someone will come and let you in. So it’s worth having a phone that can make Spanish calls (my UK phone did this just fine). Since this isn't a five-star hotel I'm sure some people can find faults if they look hard enough. I personally really liked the quirky decor but might not be to everyone's taste. I've travelled all over the world including staying in backpacking hostels and honestly this is one of the nicest places I've stayed in.

We stayed for 1 night in late may, arriving from Malaga by bus. It’s located 750m from the bus station, right in the heart of Ronda, 200m from Socorro square and 150m from the famous historical bridge. If you come by car you may find helpful the private parking at plaza de Socorro. From the shared terrace/balcony you can actually have the best view of the bridge (and this alone is a great reason to stay here). There’s a super market two blocks away but also plenty of great tapa bars, café and restaurants all over the town. It’s actually a big apartment on the first floor which houses three different rooms and a shared bathroom. The apartment has some nice furniture and decoration, the common area is a living room with a TV and a balcony with tables and chairs to enjoy the view. The shared kitchen is spacious if you want to prepare your own meal but trust me, you don’t really want to miss eating out in Ronda (great tastes, great prices). We had a double room (35e per night), not really big in size but it was clean and had a comfortable bed. The shared bathroom/toilet was also clean (at least when we checked in) and hopefully, it was never occupied when we had to use it (it’s always hit or miss when you share the bathroom with other rooms. Wi-Fi:strong signal service/staff: we only meet a lady that did the check in and cleaned the bathroom when we arrived but noone else after that.

Some extra toilet papers were necessary in the toilet/bathroom and someone had to empty the trash bin (it was fully packed early in the afternoon and stayed like this until our check out the next morning).

The apartment has the best location, with the view of Puente Nuevo. It is a spacious apartment with a balcony with THE view.

The apartment is quite old, and some parts are falling apart. For example, the shades on windows of the living room where totally broken. The bed in one of the bedroom was quite unstable (the legs were moving from side to side as if the bed was going to fall apart at any moment). Also the buttons (light and bell for the apartment) can be distinguished somehow, because neighbours wanting to get the light, accidentally ring the bell to the apartment.

The hotel is located in the very city centre, the view from the shared balcony is amazing, sadly we went when the weather was not great so were not able to enjoy it. The appartment has three rooms so you dont need to share the bathroom with super many people, however in our case the people living there left the bathroom a total mess after their shower, the floor was completely wet and if you did not have slippers it was best to you to the bathroom wearing shoes which made even a bigger mess. The parking was the biggest issue, we drove around the center for about 30-40min until finding a parking space 1.4km from the hotel. Overall for the price and the view I would recommend, but keep in mind the shared bathroom and lack of parking.

The location is absolutely amazing. The balcony overlooks the bridge, and everything is within walking distance. Could not ask for a better location. The apartment is a lovely size and within a beautiful building down a cobbled street. Our hosts were very helpful too.

If I had anything to suggest to make guests stay more comfortable, it would be to have better pillows on the beds; our sleeps were poor because of the hard, long pillow. Ensure that there are at least a couple of pods for the coffee machine and a couple of tea bags (even if you add this into the room cost). A clean dishcloth is a must along with tea towels and bathroom towels (ours smelt musky). The toilet seat has to be changed - it doesn't fit! The blind on the doors to the balcony should be replaced or removed; half of it is missing, so it doesn't really do to leave it up. These are small things that could so easily be put right. I absolutely loved the apartment and would highly recommend it.

Best location and a great view of the iconic bridge. The apartments are clean and decent and the owners are nice and warm. For someone who doesnt have high standards, the place is perfect. I recommend it for the view.

The bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared spaces with other people so dont expect complete privacy and be ready to wait in line for a shower. The room we slept in was right next to the bathroom so it was noisy, especially in the morning. Dont expect to feel cozy, the place is not modern or new but its very practical and good for a short stay when visiting Ronda.

The view is the best. Great to gaze out on the 'new bridge' for which Ronda is most famous for, while eating breakfast or enjoying an evening (or afternoon or anytime) beverage. The apartment was conveniently located for a ten minute walk from the Martinez Astein car park. Apartment is comfortably quirky with some wonderful old furniture and comfortable double bed. Would definitely stay there again and for longer. Should add that Ronda is a great little town with some first class and great value eateries. Well worth the visit.

Could have done with an iron and some coathangers? We had the place to ourselves. Not sure we'd enjoy sharing the bathroom and kitchen with others though.

Casa Duende has the best view in Ronda, and one of the best views of any hotel I've stayed at. This is not an exaggeration - nowhere else in the town is it possible to see the bridge in its full glory, and this small guest house has three terraces overlooking the entire gorge, bridge and valley beyond. The view from the terrace is phenomenal - I spent most of my time just sitting on the terrace reading, working and eating tapas and drinking wine and enjoying the view. (The kitchen is well-equipped so it is possible to make great meals at the house). The shared bathroom is also fine as there were only three bedrooms (a maximum of five guests) sharing the bathroom and it is cleaned daily. I would highly recommend the guest house, the view alone makes it worth it.

The house is decorated in a very formal style - a lot of old antiques and classic furniture. Although I felt this added to the charm and gave a more authentic experience of Ronda, I do believe the bedding may need an upgrade. (The sheets were clean but had lots of colourful patterns on them, I prefer white bedding at hotels to ensure the beds are clean!) it's not a big thing though, the house is great (and incredible value for money at the price) and I will definitely stay there again.

The views are just about the best in Ronda, being located at the edge of the gorge in front of the Puente Nuevo. Very central location, ideal for exploring the city before and after the daytrippers have left to enjoy the quieter streets.

The shared apartment of the lower two levels has always been poorly maintained (since I started coming here about 10 years ago) but tolerable for the price and amazing views. About time to do work on the bathrooms and electrics.
