The staff, both at the reception and at breakfast, could’ve been friendlier to guests. At breakfast they were all grumpy and not pleasant, let alone inviting to order something from them. We had two wonderful terraces with a nice view over the bridge, but instead of hearing the waterfalls we were listening to the noise coming from the huge chimney (day and night, non stop) (accompanied with the odor from the kitchen). The jacuzzi bath was very dirty- hadn’t been used for a while - brown water was coming out.

The location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was good with superb views from the balcony.

The restaurant was very disappointing. Dinner was poor - there was little ambience as it was the same room for breakfast with no effort to change. The menu was badly translated from the Spanish to English, and all 4 of our party felt that the food was of poor quality for such a prestigious restaurant , and it was definitely over-priced.

It was a wonderful hotel, if you come via car, they said they have limited parking. If you arrive at check in time, I think you probably would get a spot. Their parking lot is under the hotel with an elevator to go to main lobby. It’s perfect. The hotel is in the center of everything and next to the bridge. Our view of the countryside was incredible and had a nice size balcony. You can watch the sunset from your balcony. Comfortable beds and towels.

We’re English speaking and not much to choose from in English, just news channels! Wouldn’t be nice to fix tv with subtitles at least.

First stay in a Parador and couldn’t fault it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had booked a standard room and had asked for a view if possible. They explained that only their superior rooms had views proper of the Ronda gorge and none were a a available (but gave the impression they might have upgraded us if they had). But they made sure they gave us one of the standard rooms still with a great view to the mountains. Very good sized, clean room. Good breakfast included - limited, simple hot options but good quality and plenty else on the buffet. And fantastic location right in the centre of Ronda by the bridge. And with parking (for a fee). Overall great experience, would recommend

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location

Room descriptions on booking.com are inaccurate. Be aware that despite the description of the standard double room, not every room has a balcony. We were unlucky enough to get one of the rooms that did not and were unable to change as there with none with a balcony available. This was a big let down for us. booking.com advised that we speak to the hotel, the hotel told us that they've informed booking.com know not every room has a balcony yet they continue to advertise their hotel wrongly. Went back to booking.com customer services over a week ago but no response

Everything was excellent - from the location and breakfast to the room itself. One of the best hotels I have stayed at!

On the first day, the receptionist didn’t speak any English. While that’s not a major issue, two things stood out: (1) there was no effort to communicate clearly (he continued speaking Spanish quickly, without trying to slow down or bridge the gap). It felt a bit disrespectful. (2) For a hostel of this standard, we would typically expect basic English proficiency at the front desk. The following day, a different staff member spoke English, and everything went smoothly.

A wonderful hotel. We had treated ourselves to a duplex room and boy did it deliver. We felt we were in a luxury apartment. The views from both balconies was amazing and, although not the most powerful, enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. You really felt you were in a home and not a hotel room. Lovely coffee machine and kettle, bathrooms on both floors and beautiful wooden staircase. Staff were very welcoming, car parking great and a tasty breakfast with a selection of a buffet and ordering fresh cooked from a menu. Also liked the little extra touch of providing you with your own tongs for selecting your bread and meats etc from the buffet. Location was in prime position.

When asked if we could leave a vehicle in the car park for extra hours due to change of flight, we offered to pay, were told absolute NO. The clerk did not even check if the hotel was going to be near to full capacity or half empty. When we went to the car park it was mostly empty. I understand protocol but she could have LOOKED to see if it was possible. One of the receptionists was very helpful and another "not so much" Oh, and when asked if we could leave luggage due to plane delay we were told NO and if we did it would be in the lobby and unsecured.

We have stayed at Paradors before so we know what to expect . overall the experience was good but not excellent which at previously Paradors have been . We were on our Honey moon and called the Parador at Ronda prior to booking to say we would like a room over looking the gorge we were ensured such would be available , we were in room 13 to the rear ! we booked dinner , food and service EXCELLANT , unfortunately breakfast was a bit of disorganised event ....staff whilst attentive seemed a little over whelmed. Sadly we did want to stay two nights but only Monday night available ,we booked direct . We did mention that we didn't mind moving rooms but apparently not an options , at check out told rooms available all bit too late .

You're really paying for the view here, and it's incredible! Everything else is fine if not particularly amazing.

Breakfast was truly stressful, with a very rushed and stressed team of waiters who seemed bothered by my presence. Definitely skip breakfast and grab coffee in town! Rooms are a little dated for the price, but I've found that to be true of most Parador hotels. On the last day, there was a noisy machine doing construction right in front of my $250 view. I understand these things are unavoidable but it might have been nice to have received a heads up and maybe a free drink or something.
