This is an exquisite property. The owners and designers have thought of everything and taken full advantage of the hillside kocation.. The terraced grounds have beautiful views of the splendid landscapes. The staff is first class and the breakfast room is small but charming. I visited in early December, so the Palacio Duquesa was charmingly decorated. The location is ideal. Ronda is compact, so walking is great. Head up the hill from the reception, veer left off the road with traffic, pass through the forested plaza with the wonderful water feature. Continue to the left, hug the cliff from plaza, to bridge, to the clifftop promenade. You will understand why the Romantics were smitten by Ronda. It is divine.
Everything was wonderful! Getting through the narrow arch in the old battlements can set off proximity buzzers in your rental car, be brave!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! It completely exceeded my expectations and I really wish we had stayed more than one night. The location is fantastic, walking distance to everything in Ronda and nestled in a beautiful spot overlooking the rolling hills behind a beautiful old church. The gardens are stunning and the rooms are immaculate. Lots of attention to detail with styling and decoration. The staff are so helpful and kind. Extra thanks to Clara for being so attentive! We are dinner at the restaurant, which had incredible wines and food and an amazing view. We would come back again and again and only wished we had stayed longer!
Everything was superb!

It was a perfect small boutique hotel, with nice decor, it was in a great locaction with beautiful vistas from the Outdoor patios and the staff were warm, helpful and enthusiastic. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice surprise, and it went well with some afternoon snacks on the patio deck.
Only slight disappointment was the evening menu for the restaurant advertised a menu of the day, but it did not have the ingredients to offer the choices presented. Consequently, we had to choose from the a la carte menu and pay more for our dinner than planned. Staff did offer our wine for free as compensation, so that was helpful.

Beautiful property in an amazing setting. Fairly close to the old part of downtown. Perhaps someone with mobility issues might want to stay right in old town, otherwise this property is well placed.
Beware of staff parking instructions if you have a car. Be careful about parking in the streets and getting ticketed and towed like we did. Very expensive! There were (in our opinion) losses in translation to English on where to park vs not park. Take the option to park in a gravelled lot nearby and not in the streets unless you’re 100% sure. The town could be more sympathetic with foreign rental cars, as this appears to be a cash cow, just say’in 😜

It is quite beautiful and has a very peaceful atmosphere. We were welcomed very warmly and our room looked amazing. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee superb.
The sound insulation is not wonderful. We were not disturbed at night but we could hear conversations in reception during the day. We stayed on the two nights that the hotel restaurant is closed and after being directed to a restaurant nearby we discovered that it was also closed. It seemed lots of places were closing in November. It would help to have a list of good eating places with a variety of price ranges.

We loved the location which was in a quieter part of Ronda and good for parking. The hotel we were told was a private home at one point and it must have been a fabulous house. I think it would be great for a wedding or small party with a group because there is a large tiered outdoor area, and pretty well everything you need. Our only regret is not staying longer . I did try for a swim but in late September with a bit of a wind in a large unheated pool, it was really chilly. We thought the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was served in a lovely patio area. The hotel view is spectacular, and I loved that you could see the farms below, and that there was a walking path to get down to the bottom of that area. Our bed was very comfy, with good pillows, and a very nice bathroom.. The decor is quite modern and fancy which isn't my usual style, as I like the bohemian look and feel, but the rooms were so new and clean in a gorgeous setting so I enjoyed it. They offer a small fridge with snacks and drinks if you need for an added fee, and it was incredibly comfortable in our suite with some seating, and large windows to look at the view. I just wish it had been a few more days there in Ronda.
nothing.

Beautiful place in the quiet part of town. Everything is new, as the hotel opened up in May 2024.
The rooms are placed around a central atrium. The door to the room and to the bathroom are paper thin so you can hear every conversation in the reception, and you can watch your partner sitting on the toilet through the gaps around the door. The rooms were heavily scented due to scented artificial flowers and plants everywhere. Amateur waiters in the outdoor restaurant. In case of a fire, we would be trapped in our room since it only had an unreachable ceiling window.

We loved Palacio de la Duquesa. The hotel was even better than expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was so clean and spacious. The outside areas especially were beautiful. The pool, sun loungers, and outside dining areas were all emaculate and a great added feature. The location is a short walk to the main centre of Ronda, and is a perfect area to stay. Parking was also easy and free in the square near by. We highly recommend staying here.

Very cute hotel, everything is still super new. The view in the back is amazing! It was a great stay in February, but I think it would be even better in the summer when you can use the pool and have breakfast outside. The staff was also very friendly and helpful and gave us some tips. There is a big free car park about 5 minutes away.
The only minor downside is that it’s about 10-15 walk to the center (the bridge), mostly uphill.

This little hotel has a fantastic private terrace overlooking an olive grove and framed by the mountains, and is only 10mins walk from the centre of the old town. We stayed 3 nights in February and insisted on eating our dinners and breakfasts outside on the terrace, and as well as fantastic food the staff provided heaters and blankets to help it be a most memorable three days.
Nothing, it was perfect.
