Very cosy and charming accommodation with very good location! 5 min walk for a big bus stop (busses coming from Rio De Janeiro Center, Angra Do Reis,…). 5 minutes walk to the cozy tiny city center! Only 1 street ahead. Rooms are very nice, big enough and everything works perfect. Airconditioning works very well! Great reception with very nice staff who also speaks English Breakfast is AWESOME! A good various buffet with fresh juices, fruits, different kind of bread, sweet & salty options enough… all local food, we loved it! Every day during breakfast they offered new food/dishes. I would really recommend this place! It’s surrounded by nature.

Old colonial style boutique hotel, along the river. The location is great, within a short walking distance from the old town. The bed was comfortable abd the room had a nice terrace overlooking the pool and the river. The breakfast was served in a communal area and was okay - there was a lot of choice but mainly sweet.

Our room didn’t have a lot of privacy but that’s what we expected. In any case, rooms vary greatly, even in the same category (or booking type), so I’d suggest to be clear on what you request. The first room that was offered to us was not good for us, but we asked to change and it was fine. Also, being in a colonial complex, amenities are not the most modern (eg lack of plugs etc) but that is also to be expected

Everything! The pousada and the room smelled divine. The bed was super comfortable, the location is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast has an amazing variety of food every day, and the cook, without prompting, came to us to ask if there is anything she could cook for us that is not available. I enjoyed watching the birds play in the garden whilst relaxing in the hammock.

I am sad to leave Pousada Corsaria.

Beautiful setting right on the river. Pool is great and a lovely place to relax. Breakfast also good with lots of options. Had lunch and drinks by the pool one day and it was tasty. Hotel is a short 8mins walk into the old centre which was great

Room was quite small and the window opened right onto an area where lots of people walk past - it wasn’t a big deal but just had to keep the window closed until we were ready. It was worth the price for the pool and setting but the bedroom was tiny as was the bathroom.

We had a deluxe room which was very clean, well finished and comfortable beds. The bathroom was nice and shower very good. The pool has nice views, one of the best in Paraty. The breakfast was delicious and very good quality, big variety. The walk from historic centre is not long either. One of the best pousadas in Paraty in that price range.

The air conditioner is one unit built in the wall (as opposed to split units) and it’s very noisy, inefficient and basic. That is the only thing that would make me think of choosing another place next time. But the rest is fabulous. The staff in hotel wasn’t overly friendly but they were polite and did their jobs well. Maybe it’s because of the language barrier?

Close to historic center Great Riverside view set in beautiful well kept flowered gardens. There was even a well hidden kids play area. Nice pool too. Excellent breakfast plenty of choices, well stocked.

The cobbled walkways might be a problem for those with mobility issues and certainly we're a pain for wheeled suitcases. The games area ( specifically the pool table) needs a set of cues and balls so this excellent area could be fully used

Beautiful location. Very friendly, English speaking staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The rooms are a little old fashioned but the beds are comfortable and everything is immaculate clean. On the advice of the hotel receptionist, we booked a speedboat for an island trip. We were picked up on the river right at the hotel and came back 5h later from a wonderful trip.

The air-conditioning is a bit noisy.

Lovely guesthouse, in the very proximity of the old centre and at the same time near the river, amazing views. I have particularly enjoyed all the plants, everything was green and we had a superb window view. Breakfast is nice and the restaurant has great views as well, you can also eat by the pool which is also a plus. All in all I feel like the price was fair for the complex and services, would definitely choose it again.

Great setting for breakfast and the pool, nice lush surroundings to room. Food quality very high, lovely rich pastry on quich and meat pies, and some slices of strawberry in the fruit salad. Mojito looked stunning with green sugar round the rim and tasted great. The attention to detail on the food really made a difference.

Room was very big but decor & aircon didn't match the quality of the rest of the complex. Was a bit worried when we first got there. Not a great match for the booking.com description either.

Wonderful stay. Friendly, professional staff, beautiful premises and room, gardens, and outdoor swimming pool area. Breakfast was another highlight - tasty fresh food served in a sunny waterside dining area. Location was also great - quiet and an easy walk to the town centre and harbour.
