Well-maintained resort with friendly and attentive staff. Two nice and easily accessible pool areas are available for guests to enjoy even after check-out - one located near the restaurant and the other closer to the bungalows. Despite the hotel being fully booked, mainly with Indian guests, the pool areas were not at all crowded. My impression is that sunbathing by the pool is more of a European habit. The breakfast was excellent, offering European options like toast and omelets alongside Indian culinary delights, which are truly an adventure for food lovers to explore. The location is great, close to both the beaches and Chapora Fort, which is definitely worth a visit. Thanks to Leoney Resort, my first acquaintance with India was a success. The resort requires pre-payment, does not accept cards, and money transfers from Sweden are not possible due to money laundering regulations. This made payment a bit of a hassle, but it was resolved by bringing the required amount in cash. I recommend that the resort reconsider its payment policy. Finally, it’s worth noting that Vagator is a party destination for youngsters and EDM lovers, meaning there is a lot of noise. If you are sensitive to this, bringing a pair of noise-canceling earbuds or headphones is recommended.

Everything was great. Walking distance to the beach, a good flea market and some good restaurants and bar to hang around. Rooms, pool and property are very clean and well maintained and staffed. AC's worked perfectly. Loved the pool and being able to lounge around without too many people. The complementary breakfast was great (if you do not mind savoury food for breakfast).

There is construction happening right behind the resort. Check if it is finished, and if you room is close to the construction. Wish I had been informed about it. Paying from abroad with a foreign currency was also a hassle and had to pay extra for conversion rate confusions and such.

Safety wise hotel was good. Staff was very friendly and humble, morning breakfast was awesome and also restaurant food was tasty. Pool was very clean and maintained well. Lawn area was also maintained very well. Location is very calm and quiet like south Goa.

The thing I did not like was the way the rooms were maintained. The outside area is maintained well and the same could be done for rooms also. Furniture in the room are not maintained well. Room was smelling when I checked in. No blackout curtains in the room. It would be better if they provide packaged drinking water in the room instead of glass water bottle. I would conclude that the room need a major renovation.

The stay was comfortable and the Resort is situated at the great location. The service is quick and the rooms are large and spacious.
