I loved my room and the location. Staying in the queen suite, I'm glad that my room was equipped with a fridge and microwave. It was roomy and comfortable. I felt safe staying at this property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was pretty reasonable for a Wed. - Sat. stay. I loved the free WiFi and the breakfast was good.

My room wasn't cleaned on that Friday like it was the previous day, so when I came back to my room, I had to get new towels. I didn't care about the bed not being cleaned because I know some hotels do not clean the room every day. I tried calling the front desk and housekeeping but the phone in the room didn't work. I had to go downstairs to get the towels and informed them about the phone. They gave them to me with no problem and said they would inform maintenance about the phone not working. I was pleased.

The hotel room was very large, warm, comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for a nice stay, particularly given I spent so much time there as it rained heavily for most of my 3 day stay! The staff were friendly and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and had bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and a wide variety of cold options. Only a 15 minute walk to the excellent Civil Rights museum too. My first time in Jackson and I loved this hotel. Would definitely return.

The parking lot is gated, keycard only access. This was a plus to us! I felt my vehicle was safer, since we were staying close to the coliseum for our barrel racing events and that area is not the best.

The lighting in the room was very ineffective, we had to open the blind for sunlight. A night light in the bathroom would be nice also, it was pitch black during the night on that side of the room.

It is always great to start your morning with a hot breakfast of protein and not just sugar and carbs. the location was off the interstate, convenient to fast food and more local restaurants. our conference was at the convention center so our daly drive was under 2 miles. quite pleased with everything.

Room didn't have a TV remote which i think was an oversight. not a major issue because i didn't have time to leisurely stay in the room .

The breakfast was very good and tasty. The orange juice was a little watered down, however the food was good. I had Eggs,sausage, and biscuits.

The hotel no longer has 2 king bed suites like it is listed on booking. This is what I booked but did not receive. The room had 1 king bed and a couch bed.

From the time we arrived at the smiling faces of the crew, to the time we left, we enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. There was a wide variation of foods to choose from and it all tasted great. My husband kept going back for more. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked so well that we had to turn it to where it would cut off in this Mississippi heat wave. The only thing I would add is bring your own pillow if you like fluffy pillows. They give you two really great pillows, which is good. But they do go flat quick but they are a lot better than any other places I have ever stayed in.

I wish I had more time to stay there. We only came for the weekend of the comic convention but the room was so great that it made us want to stay more. Alas we had to go home when it was all over.

Air conditioning in the room didn’t work very well. there was no trash cans in our room and a couple of the pillow cases were dirty.

The facility is great. Always clean and the rooms are big and comfortable.

We had no hot water in our room. We called the front desk to report it and they offered to give us another room. However we called the other couple that we came with who were on the same floor as us. They also had no hot water. Reported that to the front desk and we were told that they could not help us. I was disappointed in the response. Was hoping they could call a maintenance person to look into the situation but that wasn't offered.

Location and convenience

They did not clean rooms everyday or restock towels. We had to ask for towels because they had not been in to clean or change out the used towels during our stay and we stayed for 5 nights.

Once we got into the room, everything was good.

When we arrived late... ate midnight, we were given a room with one king bed and one pull out sofa bed. I went ball down and explained this to the front desk person and she asked if I wanted a double room. I explained that I had reserved the king bed and two sofa beds because there after 5 of us. She had to go looking through the hotel to find that room. Once she did, she gave us keys and asked if we would need linens for the sofa bed. I said yes, and she gave us sheets. Had to ask for comforters and pillows. She was nice, I just don't think she was knowledgeable. Once we finally got settled, everything was nice.
