The incredible staff; gorgeous, huge room; spa tub; historic aspects; incredible Southern breakfast included; guest pantry - fully loaded, utilizing honor system; cozy bar with excellent menu and creative cocktails with mix of locals and guests; convenient location; quiet neighborhood but immediate access to all Jackson’s attractions; and owners on site who are deeply committed to their community.

The room was wonderful and elegant. We stayed in the Leopard Rose room. Breakfast was also very good, and all of the staff were very helpful and kind.

We had dinner in the Library. I do not like fish, which was most of the options on the menu, so I ordered the $42 steak. Unfortunately, it was mostly fat which was disappointing. The four or five bites I had were flavorful, but I didn't feel like it was worth the $42.

Everything was beautiful and way beyond our expectations.

The only thing that was not 100% pleasant about our stay was the fact that it was HOT in our room. We stayed in the double room on the third floor in the main house and it was rather toasty in there. I turned the thermostat down as low as it would go (68) and we had both ceiling fans on and it was still very warm in there. I know it is somewhat winter and the heat was on downstairs so all of the heat was rising to our room.

Fabulous luxury hotel. We had a king room /suite. Comfortable bed and furniture Breakfast was lovely

Unfortunately our shower head had been broken and unusable. Evening meal was a little disappointing probably due to the hotel having a very large wedding on site

The location was good and made it easy to get to the attractions we wanted to see. The breakfast was really nice, I have never been to a facility that you get a menu to choose what you want to eat when breakfast is included with your room. I loved that you could get a cookie whenever you wanted or a drink. It was a really nice place to stay at and I would stay again if we are ever in that area.

Amazing historic property - a destination hotel. Great stop on our way from Nashville to New Orleans. Helpful staff recommending local places to eat. Great breakfast!

I have stayed here many times, usually only one night, convenient overnight stop, with great amenities, bar and restaurant.

The property is beautiful. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff, including Katrina in reception and Jada and Emily at the Library Bar were exceptional.
