Well, compared to what I had paid in New Orleans (at the first place I had stayed) and the 'so-called' quality there, this was genuinely a real eye-opener and very, very nice! Well recommended - especially if you are driving and need free parking: plenty of space. Restaurants were round the corner - including the very handy and practical 'Waffle House'. The double-bed was very comfortable. Very spacious room - A/C cooling system was great. Really useful and practical plug sockets on the side tables, each side of the bed. A nice desk area to use with one's laptop. Great shower and bathroom space. Pretty much perfect. Fridge and microwave as well. Iron could be borrowed from reception, if not in the room.

Only issue / issues were the breakfast being very minimal indeed. Yes, coffee and juice - former, vital of course! Only a sweet bun offered for food / bites. Nothing else to eat. If this could be improved. Also, I had to use the microwave to heat up water to make coffee. No kettle in the room - would have helped greatly! Only issues, to be honest.

Value for money, clean and comfortable bed, great location close to the interstate, and short taxi ride to the town, so we only used as a stop over for one night on our travels

Pool was drained again, we had noted on a previous review several months previously Breakfast was minimal That said even knowing these problems we would have stayed again given the value for money

Very well kept and clean Facility. Good down town location that was close to several eating establishments. Bed was super comfortable.

Air conditioning in the room wasn't the best and the breakfast consisted of coffee and a honey bun. Could have provided some fruit or oatmeal.

Very clean, a little older hotel but everything worked and was tidy. Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfy and there was a sofa and refrigerator. Great value.

It was disappointing that the pool was not functioning but everything else made up for it. I don't want to try and make this place out to be the Ritz-Carlton. This is an older place but it is well maintained and a good value.

I liked the fresh clean smell upon entering the hotel. I also like the location. The proximity to the Coliseum was within walking distance. It was a comfortable stay.

It could have had an ice machine on the second floor and the ice machine that they do have is questionable. It needs replacing asap.

We did not eat breakfast there; was ready to finish our travel. We had to be in Dallas at a certain time. Overall our stay was great.

A few things they need to improve on; like checking and making sure the microwave is cleaned out after each stay; 2 sets towels and wash clothes are in each room and clean. Lets long then that they are good.

Close handicapped parking near the doors. The bathroom was clean and soap, and shampoo was furnished. I really liked having an iron and ironing board to use.

The ice machine was broken. The breakfast was a honey bun and coffee. I am diabetic.

The staff was really nice, very helpful when I had questions.

The only thing I did not like was when someone smoked in their room, I could smell it in mine

The place is wonderful they are doing repairs but the room they gave us was nice and I know when they finish the whole hotel will be nice I will stay again

Better understanding of parking charge and valet service. Where not expecting to have to pay for a valet service and pricing advertised for parking was not accurate.
