This was an amazing last minute find! We had an unfortunate circumstance with an AirBnB we booked and had to end up relocating upon arrival! This place exceeded our expectations by far! We stayed in the 3 bedroom and it was so much bigger than any other villa we have stayed in! The villa was super clean, great water pressure throughout the unit, newly renovated with modern features and lighting, The kids loved the back patio to see all the geese. They even got to pet one, it was so friendly. This resort is literally a skip away from the beach and parking was always super easy. The kids highly enjoyed the outdoor pool. They stayed at the pool anytime we weren't out doing beach outings. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely keep it in mind when booking our future family vacations!

My family had mixed reviews on the mattresses. I loved them and slept well, while my husband and mother had a really hard time sleeping, since they are used to a firmer mattress.

What didn’t I like about the property? I felt like I was in luxury all weekend!! We didn’t want to leave!! And I got engaged on this trip!! BEST TRIP EVER! Already planning our next stay!!

There isn’t one bad thing that comes to mind! The property was clean the views of the pound from my balcony was amazing! My daughter got to see the ducks and turtles!! The only thing I can think of if nip picking was I got a little turned around going from the front desk area back to the room. Such a minor problem and it’s not because it wasn’t properly or clearly labeled I just mostly went out at night.

The location was good. Amenities were great. My kids really enjoyed the different pools.

I was asked to attend what the concierge referred to as a "brag session". I knew going in that they were going to try to sell me a time share, but the sales staff during this session were incredibly pushy. We tried every way possible to tell them no and that was an unacceptable answer. We were told going in that this would be a 90 minute session. It ended up being 2 and a half hours before we could get away from the salesmen. I will never sign up for one of these sessions again. This session took up a good chunk of one of the 3 days I was there.

I enjoyed the fact that the room was so clean. The bathroom (mainly toilet) was nice and clean. I normally try bring my own blanket etc. because I hate sleeping on the ones provided. This time I forgot those things and still slept comfortably in the bed all night. Oh and I also enjoyed the fact that I was able to wash up all of our clothing before leaving.

I didn't like that the walls are really thin. My husband and I were awaken each morning at 6:30am to two kids running, play fighting and screaming at each other from the unit next door. We did not want to get up that early while on vacation.

The place was beautiful the room was awesome it was nice and big in there enough room for everybody we really enjoyed ourselves the bed was so comfortable pillows was so soft the pool... the hot tub ...the indoor pool all of it was nice it was nice and warm too I really enjoyed myself after reading some reviews I thought that it may be a little off but when I got there it was so beautiful everything was so awesome.. my family and I can't wait to come back. .. I really recommend you visit this place it's also around everything you got everything they got to shuttle bus that take you back and forth I promise you you won't go wrong..

My husband has a birthmark on his arm and it's called a hairy Nevis so we had a lot of people staring instead of asking what it was on his arm so that we could educate them ..they would stare and make faces so that's the only thing that really pissed me off..

We loved the scenery and our two bedroom unit was very spacious!! Our children (including our teenager) enjoyed everything at the resort!! Everything was nearby even the convenience store at the end of the street I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Grand Palms 10/10. We'll usually book oceanfront resorts In Myrtle, but this was pretty dope. I see Surfside is more kid friendly!! My Family and I will be returning soon!!

Soon as you arrive the front desk is demanding $100 that wasn't discussed during booking. We're used to paying everything upfront and it's usually included in the total!! When we got in our unit I wasn't so mad after all though !!

The property was huge and difficult to navigate. It had nice pools and a tiny lazy river for the kids that was advertised as much bigger than it actually was. The pools were closed early supposedly because of lightning, but there was very little lightning, and it was only heat lightning, and it seemed like the staff just wanted to close early and go home, rather than allow guests to enjoy the promised amenities they paid for. Additionally, this property is not close to a beach, just fyi for those looking for a true beach vacation.

Great location that is nestled in-between very nice neighborhoods and away from the main road. 10 minutes away from a lot of things. Very clean and well-air conditioned villa. Quiet. Spacious. Several pools to choose from and easy access to the beach using 16th Avenue if you’re driving and don’t want to wait on the shuttle bus. It’s paid parking by text, but very cheap.

Need a fence around the retention ponds. Not sure if the ponds are the neighborhood’s responsibility or the resort’s responsibility.

Even after a disturbance from our rude and loud neighbor the resort kindly moved us to another room and were very accommodating! The resort was clean and easily accessible! 100% will stay again!!! Rooms were clean and spacious and very nice!

We were staying next to an owner who was loud and rude. We called security because we heard loud yelling/cursing and crashing and were worried about what was going on next door. After security came and spoke with them the owner of that unit came and bashed on our door and yelled at us about calling the cops on her (we called the front desk not the cops because the cursing and yelling and smashing of things was alarming along with children crying).

The stay there was very nice and the shuttle drivers were phenomenal!

I was contacted by a member of your staff the night before and he told me to come on in as early as I like the room was ready. When I call the next morning they informed me it was going to cost over $100 to get in early!?? Around noonish the lady informed me it would be $28 I was already very upset so I did not pay the money I waited until checkout time I will not be back. It would have been nice if I was told when he called me that there would be a fee or I would not have come early.
