Positioned in the beginning of the less touristic side of the island, the situation is extremely relaxed and intimate. we had a bungalow i front of the sea and it was beautiful. Both the sea and swimmingpool are clean and nice to have a swim there. Rooms are tidy, the staff super helpful with booking activities for you, calling a taxi, and suggesting places to see and to eat. Much reccommended if you want to relax!

nothing to improve, just remember that you are going in the less crowded area of the island (very close to the more touristic part, which is white sand beach, but still in a secluded area), therefore if you plan to move a lot around the island then you will need a bit more time and money for the logistics. Eg from the resort to bangbao pier (where are all snorkeling activities and taxi boats to koh mak / koh kood) it takes approx 50-60 min, 1000-1200 baht if you go by taxi. Anyway, it's worth to stay here, really beautiful

An smaller sized resort on the northeast Side of Koh Chang. Our room was situated right next to a nice swimmingpool with a bar. Everything was in excellent condition and clean. There was enough space, outside of the bungalow was a nice corner to sit at ( even with some poweroutlets ) a hammock was also there, just many nice little details that make sense. It was quiet, the beach was nice. Everyone we met there was very helpful, tried their best to make us feel welcome. This year definately the best place we stayed at so far.

I cant find anything to complain, everything i expected was there!

The hotell compound is what you think of when you think of "Island paradise". It's position on the beach, with palm trees and a big pool with sunbeds around is just fantastic. Since it's on the east coast the road nearby doesnt make much noise and it's just quiet and peacful. You could grab a paddleboard or kayak and paddle down the coast if you'd like. You could also rent bikes through the hotell with a price of around 300 baht a day (highly reccomend renting a bike).

The bed could be a bit better, it was a bit hard in my opinion. And i would love to have more options at the hotell resturant it was mostly Thai dishes, so if you are a Picky eater you might have some problems.

The accommodation has a great location: very quiet, beach is right in front of the bungalow, and several food places nearby. The distance between bungalows is good - we weren’t bothered by other guests, and had a privacy even when spending our evening on the terrace. The beach was very clean, and there is a lot of greenery on the territory. It’s possible to rent a scooter at the property that is a great value if you want to see the rest of the island.

Few minor things: - Our room had a shower head that was falling, probably, easy to fix; - towels could be changed more often; - we ran out of shower gel, and soap during the last nights, those should be refilled more often.

It's a very cute, small property, well kept. We loved the location of our bungalow, all the way at the end beachfront. I woke up for sunrise, the water was high tide & was pretty being so close to the room. The pool is clean, deep, nice for swimming. The rooms are cute round bungalows with comfortable amenities like a hammock on the porch & drying rack. Plenty of space to move around & finally someone in Thailand understands the need for shelves. :) There was a huge multi shelf unit perfect for laying out all of your clothes & extras. There's kayaks & paddleboard to use. We wish we could've stayed more than 1 night but that's all we could get at the time. It's on the quiet side of the Island which is nice to explore. The hosts were very nice & happily help with whatever you need. Chris was especially caring & helpful when I injured my toe & even put calamine lotion on my mosquito bites.

Like most of Thailand, there's tricky little steps to be careful of. The little step leading to a high step into the bathroom should be marked with a color maybe to draw attention to it. The floor in the bathroom should dry before putting the mat down because the suction cups don't stick to the wetness & I slipped.

Host and all staff were welcoming and helpful. Restaurant food was home made and delicious and well presented. The room was spotless, the wet room dried very quickly. The rustic style rooms were functional with a drying rack and good air conditioning. The pool was clean and a good size with sufficient loungers. It’s an authentic family concern, very close to the ferry for arrival and departures. We only stayed the one night. There were kayaks and paddle boards available; the east side was windier than the west during our month stay. It’s a good location to hop to the ferry which queues back with cars in high demand during the morning.

Be prepared for the credit card surcharge. We stayed at the same time as some disruptive families which spoiled the ambience but not the fault of the hotel.

The room is very nice and clean, right next to the swimming pool and a few steps from the beach. Great and clean swimming pool, very nice and calm beach, free SAP and Kayak. Hosts speaks great English and was very warm and helpful in everything we needed, regarding our room and regarding the activities around.

The was a problem with the toilet in our room, the water didn't flush well.. and it was hard to fix. The hosts tried to help as much as possible and explained that the situation will be fixed soon.

Beautiful location! Best pool we ever tried. The bungalows are new and very stylish decored. Bed is comfy. AC is great - easily keeps a comfortable temperature without being noisy. View from the bungalows is beautiful as well. The garden/common area is tropic and serene. Food in the restaurant very good! Pen and her partner/the hosts are so nice! You instantly feel like a friend of the house. Would def return!

Nothing! Maybe only very small minus is that there is not much in walking distance. But u cant have it all :)

We have been traveling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for almost two months, when we decided to end our trip in Koh Chang. First we went to the West Coast, where we had plenty of bars, restaurants and such, but for our last stay we wanted a quiet, beachfront bungalow, where we can enjoy our last days of holiday. We couldn't have chose better, since Sunrise is all this, and much more! Just 8 bungalows (4 on the beach), with a very romantic look and feel, a red sand beach with a deserted feeling, and one of the best swimming pools I have seen in the last years. The restaurant is tiny, with 14 options for lunch and dinner and 6 options for breakfast... But what options! We tried 12 out of the 14 dishes on the menu, all traditional thai, and we were simply mesmerized! All of them were amazing, with a perfect balance between deliciousness and size. If I would have to recommend something, even though it is very hard to choose, I would say the cashew tamarind dish, the stir fried garlic and pepper sauce and the sweet and sour one. But that is not all. First of all, this was the first place in two months that served proper coffee as we have it at home - in a french press. Second, and probably the reason for which our stay went from good to exceptional - the host, Penh. She is so kind, so helpful and so friendly, and she helped us with advice, renting a car, getting a massage and so on. Thank you so much Penh for having us! There are quite a few rocks in the sea. Not a big problem for us, since the swimming pool is exceptional, just know it is not a perfect smooth sand sea bottom, it's more like a wild beach, which of course has its charm.

Pen the host was very caring . I arrived sick and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable . The room was lovely although my son’s bed was just a camp fold out which he wasn’t too pleased about . Free water provided which is a total necessary but over looked by a lot of places I stayed in Koh Chang . The location for me was perfect. Quiet and peaceful . In fact my favourite place on Koh Chang which is extremely busy and noisy on most of the other beaches . I’ve stayed all over Koh Chang and this is the best beach with the cleanest water . Come here to relax and recharge but not to party :) Enjoy nature and reconnect with yourself . Also two beautiful cats which was a bonus !

My son would say his bed …I loved mine tho :) Nothing to not like .
