What an amazing stay. Île de Ré is truly magical and the location of this stay meant for me that I was able to make the most of as much of the Island as possible just in one day! This was also thanks to the amazing staff who gave such great advice! I started my stay off with a massage at the hotels in-house spa and it was fantastic! And then dinner at La table d'Anaïs next door which was unbelievably good (which is lucky, as the only slight downside to this location is the proximity to restaurants by foot in the evening, so I dined here both evenings) the next day on recommendation from the staff, I drove to Saint-Martin-de-Ré to explore (just a 20 min drive) and the headed to La Flotte for lunch at Les Copains Bâbord (again highly recommended) The afternoon saw me rent a bike from the hotel, and I explored the whole of this side of the island which is magical! The next morning before heading off on my next stop I had breakfast at the Hotel, which again I would highly recommend! All in all it was a fantastic stay and the hotel was amazing. Perhaps the only small downside is that the bedroom wall in my room was a little thin so the neighbours could be heard, but that’s a small thing in relation to all the great parts.

Lovely setting, well kept garden, they were very accommodating to us with a baby (giving us a room that was easy to get to with a pram), and providing a good cot. Loved the fresh orange juice machine at breakfast.

Great location with free parking nearby. Comfortable room and bed. Lighting a little poor. Large shower. Good outdoor seating and pool. No bar. Didn't have breakfast as a good boulangerie in the square that did a breakfast deal.

Would have liked a bar. Maybe options for snacks. It was what it was.

Super boutique hotel, very friendly staff and owner who obviously takes pride in hi8s establishment and is directly involved with staff training. A real pleasure to spend 4 days here.

Nothing, being in a village maybe a room at the back may be quieter, but that's nit picking.

Lovely small boutique hotel, nicely decorated room with comfortable bed and quality toiletries. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast served up to 10.30 am. Lovely pool area with natural pool. Very good value.

The hotel was in a perfect location in a small market town with a beautiful garden and natural swimming pool. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious with tables set in the lovely garden. The staff were very friendly. There were a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance, a superb boulangerie and patisserie and a daily market in the church square - typically French.

Comfortable hotel with beautiful garden and natural water pool. Nearby restaurants very good as at the moment the hotel only serves breakfast but is considering opening its own restaurant. In a quiet village with a small food market most days on the square .

The hotel is in a charming village with boulangerie, restaurant and creperie also a small market and a pretty garden with pool .Easy cycling to the other villages nearby .

Narrow stairs and a lot of steps so we older folk had to be careful

The green swimming pool with the wooden lining was quite hard (slippery) to access and didn’t feel great.
