I stayed for one night at the Boat House Hotel. The room I stayed in was en suite with a magnificant sea view. The room and bed was clean and comfortable. The host was extremely hospitable. Offering help and advice re: public transport and local places of interest. I had dinner at the Boathouse Hotel restaurant. I chose the delicious sea food lasagne and rosemary roasties with a salad. The portions were generous, and it was reasonably priced. I plan on staying at the Boathouse Hotel the next time I'm on Anglesey.

I liked the live music on 2nd Tuesday of every month live mic professional artists of many and also the Beer and Food and View from the bedroom.

I found no faults really, the staff were very nice especially Paul and Henrietta as well as Sarah in the Morning. Very Satisfying. I would definitely go there again.

The breakfast was very tasty and pleasant. Evening quiz in the bar/ restaurant. The boat house is very well positioned with sea views. The room was more than adequate and comfortable.

The staff was fantastic! They anticipated what we would need before we did. They adjusted our reservation when I accidentally selected the wrong days, no question.. The restaurant has everything made from scratch with fresh ingredients! It was like staying with the most amazing family! The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The location was magical, right on the coast! We took a morning walk finding ruins, amazing history, stunning views, blackberries everywhere, and unique rocks used in ivy covered walls. You will never find a harder working staff that instantly makes you feel like family like you will at this hotel.

Some people may find the 1960's decor dated, but everything was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It was nostalgic for us, stepping back to a time when trendy was comfortable as well as fashionable. The skeleton key was a bit tricky, but was so adorable we had no issue learning the slight click to make it easy to lock and unlock. If you need a taxi before noon, schedule it the night before. There are no Ubers in this small town with beyond gorgeous views everywhere you go.

Our room had a wonderful view of the harbour. We had a snack in the bar in the evening but no breakfast next morning.

Nothing really. For a 2* hotel it was ample.

Spacious room and bathroom. Really comfortable beds. Amazing views of the water. Lovely restaurant.

Position of the toilet was a bit awkward.

The breakfast was very good, although I usually like it a little warmer. Also the plates need to be a bit warmer. Personal preference is self-serve breakfast, but prob that's not possible. And possibly do your own toast instead. The Conservatory is a great idea. Friendly welcoming staff. Room #1 was very good with a sea view, windows that open, and a comfy bed, liked the coffee facilities esp the kettle! Also parking is great, plenty of space. I noticed the walking paths nearby, an ideal base for the local circular walks, you could easily start/end a North/South Stack + Mynydd Tŵr walk, via the Country Park from the hotel! I liked the out of the way feel of the place, made it nice and quiet. We stayed one night, however would arrange a longer stay.

Aside from above, everything was just fine - we got a good night's sleep!

The room was very spacious. It was clean. The staff were welcoming. Even though I was downstairs right by the entrance, I didn't hear any disturbance of the bar. The property is walking distance to Holyhead Marina which was ideal for me as I was staying over with my pet dog.

The main lights in the room were quite dim. The opposite for the table lamps - they were blindingly bright. Reading through the hotel booklet, takeaways were not allowed on the property.
