Breakfast is really good and the location is superb.

When we just wanted a drink at the bar, rather than a full meal, we were ushered into the dog friendly bar room at the back of the restaurant, which a) had loads of dogs in and we don't like dogs and b) smelt really strongly of dogs!!

Great location at one end of the bay, multiple restaurants and cafes an easy stroll away as well as the beach and bay itself. The staff are wonderful, friendly, efficient, helpful and engaging. Room 1 was large and airy, lovely view over the bay, small balcony to sit out and quiet even when there was a DJ (ironically called ‘Silence’!) playing music in the garden next to the pool building. Food was good, service exceptional, beer excellent! We were sad to leave but determined to come back

Nothing specific at all, not sure how accessible the rooms are if you needed help - there’s a ramp from the outside up to reception but I didn’t see a lift - but there are several stand alone apartments and rooms in other buildings around the main hotel which may well be fully adapted.

Lots to like; excellent staff who were polite, helpful and smartly dressed, food was cooked perfectly and well presented. Garden seating was adequate and spacious, parking was easy and spacious, good views of the beach .

Wardrobe space didn't allow for ladies dresses and hanging room was very limited. The room temperature was very warm even though a fan was provided. Long dresses had to be hung up in the bathroom which was totally unacceptable. Had the weather been hot the room would have been unbearable.

This was our second stay and we had the cottage rooms great sea views spotless clean and well trained friendly staff .whoever is hiring the staff has an excellent recruitment feel for getting the right people who went out of there way from the receptionist to bar staff to housekeeping all were excellent .

There was an area outside to sit and have a drink but no ashtrays? I didn't see a none smoking sign so people had a smoke and no where to extinguishe the cigarettes but the floor and nobody liked doing that

The view of the sea, early in the morning, sitting in the window was incredible. So relaxing, area was quiet, room was spacious, breakfast was lovely. Fresh flowers in the room were a nice touch. Plus the made the bed is made every day and gave fresh towels every day, in the spirit of sustainability, I haven’t seen that in a hotel in quite a while.

Just cosmetics, silly things like why touch up a ceiling or a wall when it looks so much better if you took the 15 minutes extra to paint the whole area.

This was our first stay but we’ll definitely book again! Size of the room was amazing but we did pay for a sea view deluxe! Very clean and lovely touches such as fresh flowers on the coffee table and fresh milk in the fridge rather than little plastic cartons for your brew! The staff in all areas of the hotel were welcoming, very chirpy as though they genuinely enjoyed their work and truly helpful. Thank youuuu guys😍

The decor in the restaurant area particularly was a little dated but couldn’t fault the food!

The room was very clean and tidy, with a good view of sea from our room. The breakfast menu was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Excellent location so you can start on the coastal path from outside the hotel.

Swimming pool is a little disappointing, very small, and had swimming lessons going on, so only a little section to swim in on one side. The lockers would not lock and people were leaving their gear in the changing rooms

The location was excellent. The staff were superb. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Excellent view from the room. A good sized room.

Our room was very hot with a large south facing bay window. There was a very good fan that helped us to keep the temperature under control but I think the room would have benefitted from some heavy duty blinds that could be closed during the day. I expected the swimming pool to be part of the main hotel building rather than a short walk away. It was pretty basic too. Could have been a few more hangers in the wardrobe and a bit more drawer storage space. Didn’t particularly like dogs being allowed in the dining areas. Staff were petting dogs and then serving food.

Great location for walking and cycling. The beach was spotless and it has a few little coffee places nearby and a lovely restaurant on the front. The hotel was lovely, we booked two standard seaview rooms but both needed a bit of tlc if I’m honest and one room wasn’t seaview it was half a view. The staff was wonderful and both the food in each pub and restaurant was beautiful. You definitely need a car to get around tho there’s not a lot to do except walk but overall it is a nice place for a weekend.

Room was well equipped clean and modern, comfy bed and good tea/coffee and toiletries. Lots of room to park. The pool was a bonus. Evening food in the Inn was very good value, plentiful and freshly made. Staff were friendly and chatty and were accommodating. A Christmas market was taking place when we arrived which was a nice addition in the bad weather.

Main hotel was quite dated and far far too hot. The receptionist has the front doors open because she was hot! It was end of November in the middle of a storm! There was no lift and we weren’t asked if we have any mobility issues. The pool water was freezing and we only managed half an hour. Breakfast was average. We had to state our arrival time and was told there would be a long wait because one family arrived late. When the cooked breakfast arrived the bacon and eggs were overdone. Otherwise food was good. I think it was overpriced at £224 a night.
