The location is very good with great sea views and plenty of parking. The breakfast is very good with good choice of cooked items, although limited fruit. The decor has improved over the last couple of years with the new owners

The change to buffet breakfast is not as good as the previous served breakfast. The quality is still as good but the area is a little cramped and there was often a lack of plates. There were a few minor niggles in our room, very low water pressure from shower, a dripping tap and TV only picking up BBC channels via f review. All minor

This was a great location. If I had known it was as close to Snowden Mountain then I would have just stayed at this location. We arrived late (after closing time) and the hosts were gracious enough to let us in even though the place was in darkness. If you are going to be later than 9 p.m. arrival please let them know in advance...we did not. The breakfast was great, the bed was extremely comfortable and the evening meal was fabulous. They have a dining room and a bar right on the premises and the food was the best that we have had so far. I would highly recommend staying here. Excellent place to stay.

There was nothing bad that I could say about the place.

A full traditional cooked breakfast was available. It was delivered buffet fashion but in a very compact manner that made it very efficient and freshly cooked items were continually brought. Best traditional hotel breakfast I've had for some time. No fresh fruit available though if that's your bag - but this is Anglesey we are talking about. Our room was probably one of the best but was spacious and comfortable and quite a bit of thought had been given to the blackout curtains. The hotel faces east so if you get a nice sea view you also get the early morning sun. Staff were very pleasant and attentive.

We found the evening meal options were rather limited. The food was only of a modest standard but by the same token was not expensive. If you were happy with the menu you could do a lot worse. The en suite in our room had clearly been recently fitted out. The design of the shower area was excellent. My only gripe was that the shower head had a very high spray angle and was not adjustable - but my wife liked this!

We have just got back to Yorkshire from a 3 night stay at Trecastell Hotel. Great location with lovely Sea views from the Restaurant area. The food was absolutely spot on, compliments to the chefs. We ended up eating the 3 nights we were there and couldn't fault anything. The breakfasts were so nice too, full English to set you up for the day. The staff in general were great but one guys customer service skills stood out. Unfortunately I don't know his name (Small guy with a Blue polo shirt on as the rest of the staff seemed to wear black). 👍

We stayed in room 9 and the shower was very poor, water could do with coming out more powerful. I emailed a couple of weeks before we arrived and asked if possible could we have a room with a full sea view. I got a reply to say we had room 9 which has a full sea view but it didn't. Room 9 is at the side of the building and you have to bend down to look out as the window is low to the ground and what you see is a small piece of water between 2 houses 👎

The location was ideal for getting around the island and views were spectacular. Cooked breakfast every morning was great and staff were brilliant and very attentive. Good choice of evening meals. Very tasty. The cascade ipa beer was very moorish

Unfortunately no lift and we were on the top floor. We knew about this so the daily exercise up and down three flights of stairs was a bonus to keep the step count up. Was quite difficult with luggage

Excellent base for a mini break on the north coast. The Hotel is under new management and all staff were very pleasant and attentive. The (Robinsons) beer settled the dust well after a long walk, Restaurant was excellent (and well frequented which says a lot), hot buffet breakfast set us up well for the day ahead. Our room had a stunning view across Bull Bay and we were able to walk straight onto the Anglesey Coast Path without moving the car.

Our room was stunning - fantastic views, dual aspect. Large room, huge bed which was incredibly comfortable. Wonderful breakfasts, delicious evening meals. The staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating.

Only really the 2 white house wines, but wine has become ridiculously expensive in restaurants now. And we'd have quite like a designated bar area to relax in, but it was a good sign that the hotel was so busy that the restaurant had overflowed into the lounge!

Lovely setting with a bedroom looking over the sea. Easy access to the coastal path. Very good parking. Plenty of outdoor space for eating or relaxation in grassed spaces. Very good evening meal.

Cooked breakfast was very good but only grapefruit on offer, no other fruit and only packaged cereal. No map or local information available.

I can honestly not rate these enough. The view was beautiful look out for the sunrise on the water spectacular. The hotel is lovely friendly carpark is ample. Do book for evening meal does get visits from locals. I had a standard double sea view and honestly it was perfect. Breakfast is more than enough for anyone. I had small and large it was lovely. Meal in the evening was good. There is a lovely beach bay about 10 mins caefn bay google nearest beach and it will take you. I also love the 20 mph and how it is adhered too. Such a slower pace here. I'm a lone visitor and I honestly felt safe. Definitely will re visit

We have stayed here before and so were looking forward to a second stay here. The staff are very welcoming and the food in the restaurant is delicious. Breakfast is well organised and the service is superb. The location is great for popping over to visit anywhere in Anglesey or Holyhead. Bull Bay is rather small and very picturesque it's lovely to walk around and explore the cliff top walks and footpaths. Kayaking and swimming off the local beach is great too and it's only a short walk from the hotel down hill! .

The bedrooms are rather basic, the beds were comfortable, but the furniture is a bit old, wobbly and dated and we had a very small bedside table. The bathroom was lovely though, it looked recently refurbished.
