Hosts they are great

Everything was great, only bit would that there air-con in the upper bedroom but not in the lower lounge area. It was so hot you couldn’t stay down there for long so either had to go out or sit in the bedroom to cool off. There was a fan but the space is so open it didn’t help at all. We had read previous reviews so we’re aware of this & it didn’t spoil our stay and everything else was great.

Nice price, location, swimming pool, not a lot of people, small and cozy hotel. Friendly owner and neighbors. Some drinks could be served near reception! Also safe box inside.

Only the bedroom has a conditioner, other rooms are so hot at the end of the day, it feels much hotter than outside, the owner said he should save money on electricity and it allows reducing room price, it's ok for me)

- Centrally located but far from the noise in a very quiet street. - Small family owned hotel. - Very friendly and helpful staff, helped me organize transport to the airport. - Comfortable bed. - Clean room and facilities. - Good wifi.

- I was there during the off season and they informed me on arrival that they weren't serving any breakfast. It would have been great to get that information before as nothing was stated here on booking.com nor in the communication I had through private message. For me, breakfast at the hotel is very important so it really affected my stay. There were places to have breakfast "nearby" but it was a 20 minute walk or a grab ride. - Lots of stairs inside the room, going up and down to the bedroom but also to go from the living room to the bathroom. It wasnt an issue but it became annoying after a few days. - Very warm in the lower floor.

Everything, starting by the hosts, who are a lovely couple running the place. Any questions about tours, transportation, the room, or anything related to the area, they were always able to assist us and even book for us. Then the loft, I would dare say, was very comfy with AC upstairs and a strong fan downstairs. The bedroom was really big and comfy and I had a nice sleep every night. The bathroom was all good, with a wall between the shower and the toilet, which I now appreciate a lot in southeast Asia. And even though the walls are all exposed concrete, they're really smooth and have nice cooling finish in the hot area. Location wise is great, as we are far away enough from the party, there is a lovely view from the mountains every single morning and it is less than 5 minutes away walking from the main road. The pool is also nice and relaxing to swim in the evening with a great star show. To be honest, it is one of the best places where I get the whole value in money per night.

That time went by so fast, and we stayed 8 nights there!

Stuff and the owners were super nice, very friendly. I felt more like I'm a part of the family there than like a regular guest. Location is also good, few minutes walking to the main street where is located many restaurants, bar, the whole life of Ao Nang. Actually main street is pretty noisy, so this hotel is perfectly located on a quiet area (which means you will be able to sleep like a baby) and also on the walking distance to the main street. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Ao Nang beach, where you can take a boat taxi to Railay beach and other islands nearby. Rooms were very big with very comfortable beds. If I come again to Krabi I'd definitely stay again in this hotel.

The owners are super nice and helpful with everything. They can book tours or airport transfers also. I got sunburned one day and they gave me something to help with that. The place is nice and quiet and each room has a bedroom upstairs and a bathroom downstairs. The pool is really nice and also the rooms have a cool mountain view (at which you can do rock climbing). Everything was clean. It's as the other reviews have said that there is AC in the bedroom but not in the bottom portion. I was always out taking tours or exploring on my own so it didn't bother me.You will also have to walk up and down stairs to get from the bedroom to the bathroom so keep that in mind. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

As the other reviews have said, the place is tucked away down a couple of back roads so you will have to walk 10-20 minutes to the main street. I don't mind walking so it was okay for me. The good thing is there were several good restaurants before the first intersection so you won't have to always walk far. This also turns into a bit of a positive because the place is very quiet at night and I got some of the best sleep on my trip here. One time I ended up taking a taxi from the beach back to here and it only cost 100 baht. So there are other options if you don't want to walk.

We loved our stay here! The house has such an interesting design and the bedroom was so comfortable and cosy. We loved all the windows in the house especially the one at the top of the stairs where you could see the mountains. The location is great, perfect backdrop of mountains behind the pool and only a short walk to the main road of Ao Nang. Very quiet around the property making it great to sleep at night. The owners are lovely and run the place themselves. Pat makes a great breakfast especially the banana pancakes and thai tea! Both owners are always happy to have a chat which we did at every breakfast and they offered some great tips about places we were going. Overall, a really lovely and peaceful stay.

The rooms and overall building are very new and well maintained. However, the rooms get quite warm during the day and AC is only in the upstairs bedroom - depending on how much time you want to spend in the room, this may get uncomfortable. The owners are super friendly and make sure you have a great time. They offer breakfast options, laundry service and help you with anything you need. The pool is also a big plus, as well as the super comfy beds. The location is very quiet on a small side street, but only 10min walk away from the main street.

The view from the location was great and the place was very calm. It does take 30min to walk to the beach, but we didn't mind as it was nice and calm. The facilities were very clean and the staff was there if you had any questions or wanted to book a tour.

The apartment is a loft type. The top part where the bedroom is great, has closed doors and nice AC. However the bottom part gets incredibly hot as there is no ac there and the sun heats it up during the day. It gets so hot you simply can't be there. Also the place has a mini kitchen, but there are no plates or knives ot anything like that for simple use.

We had such an incredible time staying at the Ao Nang Lodge. Pat and Lawrence are the most friendly and accommodating hosts you’d ever meet. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. They also booked us some amazing private boat tours, which I totally recommend doing. We are definitely coming back to stay with them again next year!! PS: Pat makes the most amazing pancakes for breakfast. Make sure you try them!
