This is simply an exceptional place to stay! We stayed in a 3rd floor room that was perfect for us and our two teenage children because of the two separate bedrooms. The view from our private balcony was beyond compare. The rainfall shower in the window alcove in the bathroom is so cool! The breakfast is just wonderful! (Please note: don't miss the cake selections on the breakfast buffet. YUM!) The staff at Hotel Ebner go out of their way to make everything wonderful during every step of your day. Our whole family felt truly pampered. It is THE BEST place to stay! We can't wait to go back!

The staff was amazing. They helped us find things to do and were happy to help us in any way they could. We walked to Lindau island and also used the free bus and rail service. We went by boat one day to Constance on the Swiss side of the lake. We had excellent breakfast at the hotel every morning and the staff knew what we wanted and got it for us each day. When we return again we will definitely stay at the same hotel.

Everything was perfect. The room was nice and spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious. And the torte in the Konditorei were fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they made my stay an absolute joy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient for those arriving by car. There’s also a bus stop nearby, so you can leave your car at the hotel and easily explore Lindau Insel. (This means you don’t need a designated driver.)

No complaints whatsoever. My stay at Ebner hotel/cafe/Konditorei was absolutely delightful.

Breakfast was excellent and the dining area and hotel generally is elegant. Spacious, well appointed rooms, comfortable and sparkling clean. The location is in a nice neighborhood with lots of nice shops and convenient services, but removed from the tourist center of the island. Still, very convenient by bus (free), bicycle and foot to the island and to both train stations.

Breakfast coffee was served rather than self-service. Which, while I understand the logistical challenge from the location of the machine and that there was only one machine, it was not ideal when the breakfast rush was on.

It is a very nice boutique hotel in a good location. It's easy to reach the old town or the beaches. We've stayed in a room with two bedrooms with a balcony. It is clean, big, comfortable, and cozy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good.

Upon arrival we were instructed on do’s and don’t’s by a lady who I believe is called Domina. She was somewhat stern but friendly. The room is luxurious and the bed was good. As usual the bed is laid with two separate bed covers. Very unromantic but it seems to be the preferred set up in Germany. The breakfast was excellent. A large choice. On request you could get an egg anyway you wanted it. There’s a parking place behind the hotel where we found one last spot to park our car. In about half an hour you can walk into to onto the Lindau island.

The prices of all hotels in Lindau, even in winter, are rather high compared to other area’s but it seems a much wanted destination.

We liked the simplicity, overall, this place primarily is fantastic Konditorei, but the hotel is also nicely done. We really liked breakfast, I think that here i had the best butter croissant ever! Thanks for the hospitality.

Just needed fridge in room to work

Friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice. The bus stop was only a few meters from the hotel and as the hotel provides you with free tickets, it was very easy to go to the island by bus. As a bonus we could charge our ecar on site.

All was good.

Nice location, a few steps from the train stop. Check-in was fast and the receptionist was very kind. The room was big enough.

Unfortunately, the beds were too soft for us.
