The owners were incredibly nice and welcoming, forgave us well when we missed our original check in date. The room we were in was small but homey and there was plenty of space for 2-3 people. Owners fully provided materials for breakfast and had commonplace ingredients in the pantry for communal use. Everything was clearly labeled and kept very tidy.

Gym was broken at the time of stay, no fault of the owners! Everything else was incredible.

Easy booking process easy communication with staff especially with current it problems affecting banks and other organisations. The location of the property with its outstanding architecture excellent interior design the tranquility that you feel from the moment you step out of the vehicle The Greenery the Color of the pool the house is God sent it has assisted me processing adapt new techniques addressing mental health, communication, problem solving trying and learning different coping strategies. First time Birthday gift to myself in 6 + years.

Hygiene of air-conditioner in my room. Dusty and debris coming out from the air con which doesn't help my anxiety about airborne respiratory infection risk that it places on me especially with compromised immune system that I have. Water was icy cold unfortunately stale which I easily fixed. One glass in the bar fridge has a substantial crack .

Me and my husband have just got back from an amazing 18 day stay at Ocean Reef, We have had a wonderful time the house is lovely and has everything you need. Rooms are lovely we stayed in room 5 which had amazing sea views and air conditioning was great, outside is lovely there is a pool and a hot tub. Everything in kitchen was labelled and each room had there own shelves, organisation was really good. The owners Kyle and Jodi were lovely, they were always there to help and we had many of lovely conversations with them both they made us feel really welcome and are lovely and genuine people, we also met lots of other lovely guests that were staying We will definitely be back, Thanks for the great stay and memories Sarah and Phil x

OMG, what a gem of a Home Stay!! I arrived late at night and Jodi came to greet me and showed me around the house. The room was all I needed, including a desk and a settee to put my case on. The house is fantastic. Jodi and Kyle are so organised, each suite has a place in the fridges, freezer and pantry to store their goodies! Breakfast consists of a choice of toast, yoghurt, different cereals, apple and orange juice, plus all the condiments. If you wish to make your own breakfast that is possible too. There is also an expresso coffee machine - yum! There is a delightful pool with a bar area, bar stools, large table with chairs, a beautiful new decking area and a spa. Inside there is also a cinema room with lots of movies, pool table, a library of books, and a gym. There is a washing machine and dryer there for your convenience at a slight cost. Jodie and Kyle also have bicycles that you can use. They have a many brochures available and will discuss with you where you want to go. Plenty of off road parking in front of the house.

Ocean Reef homestay is immaculate, the room with en-suite was large & clean. The communial kitchen was massive & had everything you needed & more. The cinema room was lovely, although we didn't actually use it. The pool table was a REAL added bonus, we played a lot. The swimming pool was great, a nice size & very clean. The bar area next to the swimming pool was nice & spacious, clean & a lovely place to sit & have a sundowner. There was also a spa for guests to enjoy. Ocean reef is amazing, cannot recommend it highly enough. Will definately stay there again if in the area. Well done guys & Thank you.

Everything was great, nothing to dislike.

The "self serve" breakfast (fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, juice and tea or coffee) was a pleasant, welcome surprise. The communal kitchen had more than adequate space to work in and the pool patio was a perfect place to enjoy the breakfast. Having a fridge & kettle in the room, was great too.

I am sharing my thoughts that I had, when I made the booking, for the purpose of reassuring you.......I was skeptical about sharing a bathroom and toilet with other guests, but it was not actually a problem at all. We were in an upstairs room, and had quite a lot of luggage (our problem), so carrying it all up stairs was not ideal, but this could not be avoided as downstairs rooms were booked out to a 21st birthday celebration party. We could not believe that there was no noise disturbance at all from the pool patio area. Parking is open to the road, and as we come from S.A. ,I was concerned about the safety of our borrowed car, and this was the reason for removing all our luggage too. The car was 100% safe, so no need to worry! Thanks to Kyle and Jodi for a great stay.

Adequate breakfast.

Maybe extra bath mats for shared bathroom. Tissues & shower gel. Bed seemed a bit small for queen size. Room a tad cramped. Very welcoming hosts & grateful thanks for help & kindness from host who assisted with “disabled” husband. Amazing entertainment facilities if staying longer than overnight.

If you want genuine happy helpful hosts this is the place to stay. The accommodation is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and suited us to a tee and even a little adventurous thanks to Jodie & Kyle. The fenced backyard has everything you need to enjoy a lovely evening with a swimming pool, bar, seating galore, spa pool, and pizza oven and decorated with outside lights. Inside housed a place to sit down and read a book, watch TV, or play pool. Kitchen facilities to make your own meals and lots on offer for your breakfast. Bathroom facilities were clean with allocation numbers for each room so there was no muck up of using other people's personal products. Outside parking for those that had cars. Not far to Mullaloo Beach, 5 min drive. Because this is a communal homestay you get to meet other people from other parts of the world and have great conversations.

The stay wasn't long enough to enjoy what was on offer at the homestay.

Ocean reef Homestay was incredible. Both Jodie and Kyle were so welcoming and were there if you needed anything. The rooms were so clean and you also had access to the pool,gym and jacuzzi. The kitchen was always kept tidy and there was always space to put your own stuff. Would definitely recommend.:)

The place was immaculate, spacious and welcoming. Mat the receptionist had a warm personality with a caring demeanor, he was friendly and very helpful. The setup especially for continental breakfast was very convenient for someone wanting a simple breakfast before hitting the road. Though we didn't use both the swimming pool and the spa, they are definitely a "must use" facility on a longer stay. Ours was a very short one night stay, we arrived at 9.30pm and were gone by 9am.

The shared bathroom and toilet between three rooms, which would have a minimum of 6 guests, is an inconvenient and takes away the resort style "feel" of the property. Our night was spoilt by a group that was staying there and came back at 3am and were very inconsiderate, banging doors and talking loudly, no respect for other guests whatsoever. We had arrived at 9.30pm and were tiptoeing around the house being careful not to cause any disturbance unaware that they were not home, however when they came back it was complete opposite of what we were doing.
