A magical oasis ten minutes from the marina - and a quick inexpensive uber to medano beach. ( we also walked to the beach about 30 min but was HOT). Just LOVED this hotel and the folks that ran it. We took the two bedroom bungalow for our family of 4 and it was perfect- beautifully decorated and felt very authentically Mexican. I loved the beautiful tiles in the sinks, shower, and the kitchen was equipped with gorgeous ceramics. So many lovely extra welcoming touches like flowers in our room, refreshing welcome fruit juices, and Ale kindly lent us a beach umbrella and snorkel equipment for an afternoon at the beach. Breakfast under the palapa was delicious- but my most favorite part of the hotel was the pool- surrounded by flowers, trees, birds and plenty of places to escape the sun. Loved everything about our stay.

We liked that the property was a small boutique hotel and not a big resort. The ambiance was welcoming with greenery, plants, flowers and birds chirping. The whole vibe is relaxing and friendly. You really don’t want to leave. It is a nice place to spend the day around the pool relaxing. It is a short walk down to the marina. There are quite a few restaurants in the vacinity so you don’t need to walk to the busy marina if you don’t want to. The staff is friendly and the manager Ali is so welcoming and has suggestions for where to eat. She says welcome home when we arrived! There are hammocks to relax in. The breakfasts are a highlight of the hotel.

We loved our stay! We were greeted by our super-friendly host; she was flexible for our check-in, was so lovely throughout our stay!! The room was great, and as I needed to work during my stay, I was happy the WIFI worked super well. Another great part of our stay was the daily breakfast: each day it was different and so delicious (the best we had throughout our 3 week stay in Baja California)! Near the hotel, there are plenty of (local) restaurants. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which we appreciate! Still, it is not far from the city centre if you want to visit or eat out there.

Allie the manager is outstanding. The rest of the staff is great too. Super friendly, lots of great tips on activities and dining, really cares about people. She even lives on the property. The pool was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious each day also with fruit and a main course that changes daily. The Bungalows has charm and character that you can feel.

It’s about a ten minute walk uphill from the main area, but that also makes it a quieter area. And Ubers are plentiful if you’re tired or lazy like us.

The Bungalows was an oasis in the middle of a bustling town. The minute you step through the front entrance, you feel the magic! The breakfasts were perfect every morning, and the coffee was absolutely excellent. I stayed in a cozy suite with my dad, and the staff helped make sure that there was an additional pull-out bed for him in the living space, perfect for the two of us to have our separate areas! The property was close enough to walk down to the marina and other downtown attractions, but was also mere feet away from several excellent dining options for evening meals if you didn’t feel like staying downtown.

Breakfast was homemade and delicious every morning. Staff was always friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. The pool and garden area were beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. Excellent local restaurants just around the corner.

Furniture in the sitting area of our room was a bit uncomfortable, but certainly not a reason to not stay again. The Bungalows is a 15-20 minute walk to town and the beach. We are walkers so that was ok with us, but if you do not want to walk, you would need a car or depend on uber/taxi every time you want to go to town or the beach.

The staff was exceptional and catered to our every need and want. The hotel is cozy, small and felt like family. The included breakfasts were phenomenal. So delicious and even if you did not want the prepared breakfast of the day, you were able to customize your own breakfast. All allergies were respected. The location was excellent. Walkable to anywhere you would want to go. Fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Will rebook again for Feb 2026!!!

What a treat! A beautiful hotel, with a large and comfortable room. Air conditioning was strong and pleasant, and the airport transportation arranged through the hotel was fast and efficient. I especially enjoyed that the hotel made a delicious vegan breakfast for me every day - I always assume that "free breakfast" won't comport with my dietary restrictions, but the owner and staff here accommodated me with delicious meals every day! Right next to a convenience mart with everything you could need, just up the hill from town. I'm not a big fan of driving or being driven on vacation, and the location of this hotel made it easy to walk everywhere. We booked the honeymoon suite and it had a little semi-private area, great for reading. Overall, just a fantastic hotel - if you're not about the resort thing, this is the ideal spot for you.

The only complaint I have (which is very minor) is that the pillows on the bed could have been somewhat better - but maybe I'm just used to foam pillows.

The Bungalows Hotel is a charming, tranquil oasis in the middle of Cabo San Lucas. The property is decorated beautifully, and the room was equipped with all the amenities one could need. Aletse and team are incredibly kind and hospitable. The daily hot breakfast was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I loved the pool and relaxing on the pool chairs in the afternoons. The hotel is located in a walkable neighborhood and with some great restaurants nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Bungalows Hotel and look forward to staying here again the next time I visit Cabo San Lucas.

Wonderful location walking distance to Cabo San Lucas downtown and the Marina but far enough that it's in a calm and quiet area. Within 2 blocks of multiple good restaurants (one open late night) and convenience stores. Beautiful courtyard with shared pool. Delicious breakfasts. Nice, welcoming, and helpful staff. Clear/helpful/timely communication via Booking.com and Whatsapp prior to arrival to have all our questions answered.
