The location of the hotel is fantastic – situated on a hill above a beautiful village, and most importantly, with a breathtaking view of the lake. Although our room ended up not having the promised view, we appreciated that the sun didn’t shine directly into it. Check-in was very easy. In the morning, we enjoyed a rich and delicious breakfast, once again with a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. I highly recommend not missing the sunset from the upper terrace – the scenery is so stunning, you won’t forget it for a long time

At six o’clock in the morning, the bells of the church – just a few meters away – start ringing, and they’re so unbelievably loud and intense that they could wake the dead! The ringing then repeats at fifteen-minute intervals. Well, you definitely won’t miss the breakfast!

The hotel is new and very clean. I really liked it and can recommend others. Everything was ok. The staff was friendly but we met them only during the breakfast because it was self-check it. The food was very delicious and selection was limited but enough for us for one night. A view is amazing!!

There was a problem with self-check it because both screens were showing “system error” but somehow we were able to register. We paid 20 CHF for our dog. You do not receive anything for your dog so I think that it should be for free. The hotel was full, many people on sauna so we did not use.

Absolutely loved my stay and cannot wait to repeat it. I only spent one night at Neu-Schönstatt, but had the most relaxing self-care evening with a gym session, sauna and the most stunning sunset. The self check-in worked flawlessly and I really valued the flexibility. Great comfy beds and balcony and spotless rooms. I also loved the little touches- coffee machine in the hallway, tea maker in the sauna and apples at the check out. Thank You & I cannot wait to be back!

The Junior suite is great for families with toddlers, who have enough space to crawl and play on the clean floor. A big plus was the in-room coffee machine. The cleanliness is outstanding! The personnel is very friendly, and the facilities for kids are great: indoor play area, outside playground, high chairs and anything else you might need for toddlers' meals. The breakfast menu also has some healthy options for young children: cucumbers, cottage cheese, Bircher Muesli.

We only had a few minor inconveniences. We didn't find a way to regulate the temperature via buttons, but we could open the windows. The coffee table in the Junior suite doesn't have rounded corners, so you have to keep an eye on your toddler around that. Since we were coming with our dog, it would have been nice to get a bowl for water and food.

Really comfy, clean, nice sauna and gym area though some free weights in the gym would be nice. Good vegan options at breakfast including oat milk, vegan baybel and vegan yoghurt

A charmingly odd place. The church bells do wake you up at 6am. Also on one of our mornings the electronic blinds also went up at 7am , without us controlling them which again woke us up. Be nice if they had a kettle in the room.

It was a very clean and nice room with amazing location view to the lake it was a pleasant stay i loved it , oh did I mention the view it was breathtaking spend the extra and get the lake view you wont regret it I promise. The restaurant food altho pricey was really good and the staff were very friendly

Nothing really to mention but that said the bells from the church next to the hotel are very loud and if you’re a light sleeper that might be a problem as for me i actually liked them they gave me peace I don’t know why and you see nuns everywhere it was awesome , the only thing i was missing is maybe a hot water kettle in the room that would be nice so you can make tea or something

Location is amazing. Free parking is available. The views from the hotel are just WOW. The checkin/out process is very smooth. The room was very clean.

Breakfast was disappointing. We expected a much more diverse breakfast compared to how good the hotel facilities are. Also WiFi connection is not the best and it disconnects right away at the balcony.

10/10 points for the location, smooth check-in, and good breakfast. Would love to come back again. Awesome views from the hotel and nice walking trails. Don't think just book it.

No signs at the self-check-in for the parking lot, but figured out, it was just close by. Hope they put up some signs at the kiosk. Church bells, but was okay as you get used to.

- breakfast was ok - quiet place , a little isolated

- the retaurant was closed all the time (it was open only for the breakfast). In this case if you need toeat in the evening you must find another place at least 5 km distance - many flies in the interior of the restaurant

We liked the location and the view from the window. Also was nice to have a fridge in the room but there was no kettle. The spa was very nice and empty. There is also kettle and tea in the spa.

We didn't like the door to the bathroom. It was quite weird cause it's like a half of the door with the top and bottom gaps. Strange decision. Personal on the breakfast was quite rude(( Also was hard to find a breakfast room cause there are no direction signs and if the church has their events, there are several rooms for breakfast. Be careful and ask if you are in the right one.
