The location is absolutely amazing ! We visited during the summer. The view from the hotel’s restaurant is absolutely stunning during summer. It feels like you’re in a movie. The hotel is also very close the Unterterzen boat marina to explore the lake. The gondolas going up to flumserberg are a couple minutes away from the hotel. This is great for some hikes or mountain biking. The staff were also always helpful and with a smile.

Rooms are a bit small and feel a bit outdated. The paid baby cot are cheap travel cots. This was a bit upsetting as our 4 months baby had trouble sleeping in it. For a an extra paid service, we expected a real baby cot. Also no mini fridge, so for baby bottles plan well.

Stuff very friendly, facility very clean, room spacious and location very convenient. Most of all, family/kids oriented.

Not that we didn’t like it (we asked beforehand and therefore we knew, it wasn’t a surprise) but having a little fridge in the room would have been a big plus. The facility is super family friendly, but without a fridge where to store food for babies (our case) and/or cold beverages in summer, it wasn’t ideal. The stuff offered alternatives (fridge at the reception), which was appreciated and we managed and coped with the situation, but of course not as convenient as having a private fridge in the room. Having said that, hotel is highly recommended and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

A very scenic location first of all. Right by the shores of lake Walensee, it gives for some stunning views of the Churfirsten mountains overlooking the gorgeous lake. Very spacious family rooms in a very good overall facility. The staff are courteous as always, but so is everyone everywhere in Swiss ;) Special mention for the restaurant and food. I think we put on a few kilos binging on the everything-so-tasty food.

A pool or spa would be a nice touch, but I am not complaining.

Fantastic location, charming views, free parking, Walking distance to Unterterzen train station (4 min), to Flumserberg lift station (6 min), to SPAR supermarket (10 min). There is an Intersport shop where you can rent pedalboats, bikes, scoters or kayaks. Arab gulfians families and hijab friendly

Everything was great, clean, beautiful location, big bathtub, nice view, comfy bed!

There was a wedding going on and it was quite loud, it woke me up again at 3 am (the guests were really loud outside for like an hour) and then there was some cleaning going on at like 6 am. I just wish I took my earplugs, so if you're someone whos sleep is really really light, maybe take them with you, especially on the weekend with big possibility of a wedding. Otherwise I'm really happy that the guests had fun! :)

The view, closeness to the lake. The room was nice with the balcony. Comfortable bed. Lake is stunning and perfect for SUP lovers.

Very hot inside and no air-con. Noise outside, when windows open. If you are looking for a quiet place it’s definitely not. Train and highway nearby. Starts being noisy quite early in the morning. It’s a busy place, which I didn’t expect while choosing it. I was aware there was a wedding and that I expected… so no complaints about that.

Peaceful location by side of lake, within walking distance of lakeside beach, walks, cable car, ferry inter sport shop and train station. Relaxed and friendly staff who were very helpful. Spacious rooms with generous living room and balcony. Great breakfast.

As double bed was on second floor the heat rises and without air conditioning for the hot days this was an uncomfortable sticky nights stay. However, there was a decent fan to at least move the air around.

The owner himself takes care of the property very gently and the staff friendly smile always save for the family and children they have a nice restaurant in the hotel marina delicious food and great chef you most try especially the tomatoes cream soup perfect thanks for the owner and the staff we enjoyed

One of the prettiest places we have ever stayed - absolutely stunning little town with excellent access to the mountains and right on the breath taking Lake. The room was comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Excellent restaurant and breakfast was superb with many hot and cold options. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and strolling around the lake was magic! Easy access to train and lake ferry. Staff were friendly and helpful and great overall resort facilities.

The balcony was shared with the room next door and we were NOT told this at check in (it is also NOT noted on the room description when booking). We were laying on our bed with the door open and all of a sudden a lady appeared at the table on our balcony, about 2 metres from the bed. We knew there was no air conditioning, and no doubt in the climate it is rarely needed, but there are also no fans and no windows. So you need to leave the balcony door open for any air to circulate and it was hot when we stayed. Because other people could just walk into our room from the balcony we weren't comfortable leaving it open, so it was warm and stuffy during the night. It also made using the balcony to lay in the sun less appealing due to lack of privacy.

The location was fantastic, with amazing views. It was great to have cocktails and dinner right at the lake. Breakfasts were excellent. There were paths for walking along the lake and up into the hills above Unterterzen. Front desk staff were welcoming.

The only room for improvement would be a refrigerator in the room.
