Traditional German village hotel with bar and pub food. Plenty of off street parking. Lovely large room in the annex to the back of the main historic building. Warm welcome from the host who was running the bar and sorting food orders as well as handling the hotel bookings. All managed with a friendly greeting. Lots of German guests using the hotel and locals eating in the bar which is a always a good sign. A great traditional hotel with food and drink.

Superb hotel not far off the motorway. We stopped over for one night to break the journey from Scandinavia down to Germany. The manager was most accommodating and gave us a beautiful room, fed us with a delicious German meal and supplied good pilsner beers. The room was very large and comfortable. We were on our way again after a good night's sleep and ample breakfast. Well done, and thankyou, Westerkrug! we'll be back again when we're in the area.

Village location and family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Even dinner in restaurant was excellent! Freshly cooked food in a cosy location.

The road outside is somewhat loud at night, but luckily our room was to the rear of the building so it wasn't a big problem.

Room was very big as well as the bathroom. Bed and mattreses were hard which I found very comfortable. Young men on the reception, helped us with the accomodation and neccessary information about the room. He speaks english very well! Greetings to the cook!

Space, staff, quiet location

The rooms would have been quiet but there was a wedding event on the night we stayed. You couldn’t hear the party but could hear everyone talking and leaving the car park (it was a gravel car park). If the wedding was during the day or there was no late event, it would have been quiet. It was quiet with windows closed but it was too hot for that unfortunately

Hotel is located near the road, but our windows faced internal yard and overall it was quite Hotel room was clean and spacious enough for a family of 3, with all the needed amenities Good breakfast Free parking

Service and very friendly helpful staff! Had a late arrival and kitchen would be closed, manager gave me a call to ask if I would have dinner wishes which was ready upon my arrival…. just great hospitality and service

Excellent host, English speaking, breakfast was included and it had a good selection and everything was fresh. Easy parking on site and clean facilities.

Even though it was Easter and the Hotel had planned a big Easter-brunch since 10:30h they were willing to offer breakfast at 07:00h in a separate room as we were just on travel-through.

Perfect decent hotel, no complaints. Good breakfast and we also had diner and all was very good. Price/quality was top. Comfortable beds in the room.
