Very cozy bed & breakfast tailored for a quick break on the road to scandinavia. Squeaky clean, nice rooms with very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is classic northern german style, astonishing choice with vegetarian options, freshly made. Very nice staff. Thoroughly recommended for a nice break on the long trip north. Conveniently located just a 10 minute drive from the motorway close to the danish border.

The hosts are lovely and very friendly. Delicious breakfast with many different options of fruits, cereals, bread, cheese etc. Clean room, with satellite TV, good Wi-Fi connection, nice parking area. The mattress was very comfortable and in perfect condition.

It could be a bit cheaper for its location, but it is high season, so it is understandable. The windows blinds were not good enough to block the external lights. There is a small glass window on the doors that are not blocking the lights as well, this can be a bit annoying at night.

Owner /Manager very pleasant and helpful . Certainly off the beaten path and not the Marriott but very comfortable and clean . Within walking distance to a really good Italian restaurant and quiet at night . Room basic but large , very clean and all are on ground floor . Our room #2 accomodated our bikes and us without difficulty . Very good breakfast served with made to order eggs and multiple other food choices .

A bit far to ride out to after a long day’s ride

- nice place, no stairs, spacious room and bathroom, good breakfast. - free parking right outside the room.

- a little out of the way, 10 minutes walk from the nearest bus. - no open restaurants nearby. - no bar service in the hotel.

We like how the hospitality and the services of the hotel. They showed us to the room, they managed to serve us our early breakfast cause we were checking out at 6:30am. We felt we are well welcomed in Ellen's Hotel. This is not our first time to stay here, a lot of time we choose this hotel because of the service quality they offer to their guests. I had a really good chat with one of the staff, as a guitarist myself we bonded over that. It made my overnight stay a lot more comfortable and put me at ease. The place itself was clean and well maintained, with a good breakfast to see me off.

By the time I was properly settled in, I had to leave again for attending a course in Denmark.

An affordable motel with a friendly host. Each room has an outdoor access. The facilities are modest but sufficient. The cleanliness is maintained at a proper level. The breakfast was satisfactory.

Breakfast was amazing, possibly the cleanest nicely presented hotels ive stayed at. I travel extensively worldwide and stay in many high end hotels..While smaller this exceeds many of them!

Actually nothing, we had some problem with the heating, but it was solved immediately.
