Plakias is a very nice village on the sea front and the hotel is 10 metre from the beach. We were having breakfast seeing the beautiful sea. The sea and beaches are very clean and the hotel includes sunbeds on the sea front. It is possible to visit around, either with a rented car or with the support of an organized group. There are lots of restaurants with fantastic quality food. The hotel personnel was very kind, although I understand they may change season by season.

It is a very windy island. We are okay with it, but probably not for everyone one. However, the wind reduce the feeling of the hot sun.

We had a nice room, clean, everything was as expected, good breakfast, friendly staff. The pool was nice, but cold - also the sea was cold, for some reason. The location is nice, you can walk around on the beach, left and right and you find some great views - especially at sunset. Beware, at the left side (near the mountain) there is a nude-beach - I almost took the kid there, luckily I saw earlier :) You can also go to the right, there are some nice taverns.

The main issue was the beach, rocks, not only on the side, also in the water, not friendly for kids. You can find some beach portions where you can swim, but the water was freezing. Now, it's also a matter of taste, we prefer sand.

The room was excellent. As big as a five star room. Bathroom OK. Breakfast excellent with every type of food. The beach at Plakias suffered from a bad winter so lots of stones but the swimming is good and the hotel has a nice pool. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel doesn't advertise as disabled access but it very nearly is. I am a wheelchair user. The downside is the ramps are too steep and you need assistance. The barman should and could have been more knowledgeable.

Violeta, the front desk manager, was all the time at the hotel during our stay. Her attention to detail was extraordinary. She was making sure we were always feeling comfortable, if we needed something, and also reacted before we even asked, as we were lactose intolerant, and she made sure we had plant based milk available. It was also my bday, and she gave us a bottle of delicious wine as a birthday gift. She was extraordinary, always smiling, kind, and helpful. She made our stay 10 thousand times more pleasant. The hotel is very well located, just beachfront and close to nice restaurants. Very clean, breakfast very good and with a lot of variety.

Perhaps people smoking in the breakfast area was a bit disturbing. A non-smoking policy area would be nice to have.

The staff were great. Looked after us very well, extremely helpful. We had a late arrival flight, outside normal reception hours. This wasn't an issue, and they stored the key in a safe place, which we found on our arrival. The double room with ocean view was lovely, clean, and everything you needed. Showers are always hot when you need them. Cleaning staff cleaned our room every day while we was at breakfast and provided fresh towels. Plakias itself is lovely and there are lots of restaurants and shops. We eat out most nights. Spoilt for choose.

Weather.. we had a couple of stormy days.

The location is very good, the rooms are decently large. The breakfast is optimal for a short stay. There is everything you could need within a short walking distance.

There is no kitchenette, but there is space and need for one. The guest's wish is law unless it violates the rules, order or peace of others, right? If the restaurant is open and the buffet is arranged at 07.57, they will warn you that you are coming early and refuse to enter?! Ok, next time I will stay in another hotel, it is full of kind hosts (in 1 month I come for the 4th time in Plakias). One day I decided to be on the beach in front of the hotel, the deckchair should of course be facing the sun, as I did. A hotel clerk came and moved it to where she thought it should be? In both cases I was alone, both in the restaurant and on the beach. Who did I get in the way, folks?

A well maintained and clean hotel right in the middle of the village along the beach bouleward. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh products. A beautiful sea view from our balcony, quiet room with plenty of space. And relatively spacious bathroom as well. A sandy beach is long and the hotel has its own umbrellas and sun beds reserved for the guests. A small pool as well (even if we did not spend any time there).

Great hotel with good location. Great breakfast. Very nice staff. Everything was fine.

The only thing I would suggest for improvement is a bit more variety in the breakfast selection and a better choice of fresh fruit. When staying for several days, the offer can feel a bit repetitive — but overall, the breakfast was great!

Lamon hotel is pretty basic but, the sunset view is stunning! The beach is right in front the hotel, which is a plus, and, the breakfast was really good too. You can see that the building is more antique. However, all the amenities are provided, including internet, ac and, hot shower. Front desk is not 24 hours but, they left the key to us to access the room even when we arrived after hours.

Pool was not heated.

We loved the location, in front of the beach, in a small street full of lovely local shops, coffees, restaurants and supermarkets. Charming and full of life all day long. We had a nice view to the back garden and our room was very comfy. The staff was extremely friendly, always kind and helpful, they made us feel welcome and cared. In our last day we had to leave the hotel very early because our flight was departing early in the morning, so it was not possible for us to get breakfast there and when we told this to our lovely lady of the reception at the check-out on the previous evening, she organized us box lunches for take away. Extreme attentive and kind.

One suggestion, would be that they could leave a hand towel next to the bathroom sink, instead of having to use one of the towel kit we got in the bedroom and more fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet.
