We absolutely loved doing onsen every evening: a private in-room one is just such a wonderful luxury. The entire Ryokan is so elegant and beautiful. Breakfast was interesting and very traditional. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, always finding ways to answer our questions and helping us wherever they could - I will miss them all. Best of all was the town of Obi, which is a beautiful place with so much history. I really loved our Miyazaki trip and staying at Nazuna was part of that loveliness.

There was a marble shelf right above our bed. It gave me a lot of anxiety - and true enough, my husband was in a lot of pain after he hit his head accidentally on the marble shelf one morning. I don't understand why anyone would design it this way. I know it's hard to make changes now that its been built, but it is very strange how anybody could think this is safe. Hopefully something can be done...

An amazing remote experience, we recommend to arrive early to enjoy the garden and the room. The staff was amazing, welcoming, understanding and sharing the best experience with us. The house is completely renovated with high end facilities.

Very remote but accessible by train and taxi. Plan the way back properly there is not a lot of trains to go or come back.

We loved our stay here. The room was very special and the outside bath was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and very courteous. We had the breakfast and it was wonderful. Different on each day and they were able to cater to our dietary needs.

I didn't make a reservation for dinner when I booked this place, so had to find a place to eat. I was expecting a great dinner but couldn't find any good place to eat around this place. We end up buying dinner at a convenience store. That was a little disappointing.

Outstanding room with garden area. Staff were welcoming and reserved dinner in a local restaurant for us. Afternoon tea was great. Location is a 5 minute walk from the castle in a lovely old street.

It was perfect ! Obi is a really cute town that pairs with a stroll in the morning and spending the afternoon in the onsen of the room. The room was beautiful, peaceful and the breakfast in the morning delicious (traditional breakfast) The staff was attentive and professional (and spoke English)
