Location was good in the middle of the resort/village of Canazei. The room was spacious and the bathroom too, which is not always the case - really appreciate that. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options, including a variety of protein containing food - brilliant! We were happy with the price level for this accommodation in relation to the standard provided and compared to other hotels we stayed at on the same trip. Our stay was a bit off season, so that might have influenced the price in a positive direction. Haven't checked what it would be like in the high season. The SPA and wellness offerings seemed interesting but unfortunately we had no time to check it out, since we only stayed for one night. We also really appreciated there was a nice and cozy restaurant in the basement - very convenient.
As far as I can remember the internet connection in our room was a bit weak. The temperature in the room was very high (+27C) and we couldn't find a way to lower it with the control unit in the room. All we could do was open the window. I would suggest taking a look at this issue. Our experience interacting with the staff was that surprisingly many of them were not smiling or seemed enthusiastic. Maybe they were tired after a long and busy winter season, but in my opinion this is an unusual behavior in the tourism business, so I think it is worth mentioning as an opportunity for improvement.

The hotel is in a historic building and if you like this type of accommodation, you have to come here. It has restaurants, a club, a beer garden - very good food and friendly and professional staff. Honest breakfast, with pretty much everything you'd get in Italy. Maybe they should be more careful with the hot side (omelettes, eggs) - they're probably made in larger quantities and they get cold. Enough parking spaces, ski room, very good entertainment every evening - and the rooms are isolated enough that you don't hear almost anything. The gondola for the belvedere is about 300 meters away, you can get there relatively easily, on foot. Many excellent restaurants in the area, but I recommend you try the hotel menu too - it's varied and very good. Almost all the staff (reception, restaurant, beer garden, staff, booking manager) are very kind, responsive and eager to please. We had a small accommodation problem (regarding the type of room) - but the booking manager solved the problem amicably. Chapeau! Likewise, when one of the bar colleagues did not behave properly, the bar manager settled the conflict with a bottle of prosecco on the house...what more can you say? :)
I think the hotel needs a refresh, especially in the common areas (carpet, elevator, furniture). It is clean, but it is clear that thousands of tourists have passed through there. Although there is a sauna and wellness, it is limited to one hour and only by appointment. Internet non-existent in all seven days (we stayed in the annex building).

Convenient and able to book last minute.
Lack of parking so we parked a few blocks away. Unlike most places I have stayed in Italy (where I currently live), they didn't want just my passport but everyone's actual passport (the pictures I had for everyone's but mine would not suffice) before they would check us in. So we had to walk the few blocks back and forth between the car and hotel. The directions they provided for where to park put me in an ally that was extremely narrow and had no place to turn around. The check-in portion put a bad taste in my family's mouth that we chose to eat dinner elsewhere. Other than the checking in though, the hotel met our needs.

Dolomiti Scholoss was a great find. We don't like to reserve in advance to stay flexible and booked this hotel an hour or two before arrival. We paid in advance for spa access (hot tub, steam room, sauna). It was shoulder season and not very busy so we were upgraded to a suite (which we did not realize until we got to the room!). The room price included a good dinner at the attached restaurant (we just had to pay for drinks) and breakfast.

Great location, beautiful scenery! Breakfast was excellent…offered several options. Rooms and bathroom were very clean! Staff were very helpful.
Room was quite small but to be expected as we had the economy room. Was worth the value. No hot tub!! One didn’t have water in it and the others were only available by appointment between 3-8. Would have been good to have that info as that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

A very tradition-heavy hotel with obvious Habsburg theme - complete with portraits of Kaiser Franz Joseph and Empress Sisi, with a knight’s armor on display in a corner. I like both, you may or may not. Appreciate the half pension (optional). Very basic, small and wooden room, but OK for me. One of the few open hotels in Canazei mid-October. Great deal.
Somewhat high-nosed but still somewhat slow waiters during dinner and breakfast. The bar closed early.

We were group of 6 and booked our rooms on a last minute discounted price. The room and the surroundings were all pleasing. They provide buffet for breakfast and dinner with 6 courses (starter, soup, first main course, second main course, fruits, desserts) which was very surprising to us for the price. Wellness is large enough with excellent saunas and steam cabin. One of the best price-value ratio we have ever been to.

I liked the central location and the elegance of the hotel. I stayed in the annex and had a view of Marmolada. The half board included regional specialties. The hotel also had a pizzeria, where I enjoyed cocktails. The spa was a great place to relax after a day of hiking.
The spa requires reservations, so I did not use it the day of my arrival. It is also an additional expense, but the fee is very reasonable.

This was a classic Italian Hotel set in the beautiful Dolomite mountains. The hotel and rooms are very ornate. We had gotten the half board which included breakfast and dinner. The meals were excellent. The location was very good to drive the Sella Pass.
The Wifi when we were they was not working at all. They said it was because of construction.

Great hotel for the winter and summer season. For the winter is very warm and cozy when is cold outside. For the summer, you can easily stay inside in the room or the bar when it’s raining. It’s very comfortable. The rooms are big enough and very clean. Bed comfortable and bathroom very good.
Breakfast can be a little bit better.
