A wonderful view and a structure composed of several well-kept and spacious villas.

The last stretch of road is really ruined and you risk a lot if you don't have a SUV. In the room reservation was written "pool view", but we were in a villa, 400m from the main structure. Not bad, but there are those who could be hurt. In a place like this and with these prices, ask €8,00 for a bottle of 33Cl red wine (also produced by them) seems exaggerated. Many people don’t drink it and maybe they don’t buy it.

Everything at Agriturismo Fattoria Lavacchio was simply amazing. Every member of the staff gave us an absolutely unforgettable vacation/honeymoon. The owner Faye and her husband Dimitri were so kind and really made us feel at home. Their primary employees Martina, Francesca and Simone were top class. Not to mention Tatsu, their amazing wine somelier, who gave us a tour to remember. Everything was 10 out of 10 - the local bioorganic food and wine, the facilities, the views… Eveything was perfect! The location is secluded and beautiful, but still close to Florence and other lovely cities. We are gonna recommend this to everyone we know. THANK YOU!

What’s not to like? It’s nearly impossible to get to without renting a car (or taking an expensive cab ride from Florence), but if you’re looking for gorgeous scenery, tranquility, delicious food, great wine, and an amazing staff that makes you feel cared for, this is the place for you. My friend and I stayed at the Casanova suite. It was more than enough room for 2 people and the outdoor spaces were great! The staff, specifically Martina, were so kind, helpful, and down to earth. The pool was stunning and the restaurant was really incredible!

It’s tough to get a taxi from the Pontassieve train station. I hadn’t planned on renting a car, but realized on the first day that I needed one. That’s my own fault for not doing better research. The ride up the hill might be tough for inexperienced drivers.

A hidden gem to escape the heat of Florence, <30 min outside the city! The property is gorgeous. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious - all fresh, local ingredients. The pool is big and cold and the loungers and umbrellas are very nice. The top floor, two-room apartment was spacious and clean, the AC units worked really well, and the room had everything we needed; I loved the tall ceilings and vineyard views. The bathroom was small but adequate - to be expected at this type of property. Highly recommend staying at an agriturismo during your trip to Tuscany!

The included breakfast was excellent except they ran out of eggs and bacon 2 of the 3 days an hour before the breakfast was done since you had a large party there which cleaned them out early. Everything else was very good and plentiful.

We had to ask for more eggs and bacon on 2 of our 3 mornings and it took a little bit to get them ready. The kitchen facilities could have been better equipped. There should have been at least some salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar for preparing snacks. Also, our large suite had only a very small shower which I could barely stand in. I understand the smaller rooms upstairs had baths which would have been nice.

Due to the hospitality of everyone at Fattoria Lavacchio, our stay was nothing short of wonderful! Everyone working there was incredibly helpful and kind. Even before we arrived, they arranged transportation to and from the Pontassieve train station, and on the day we arrived it was raining so Bennedetta drove us to our building and later did research on whether a train strike was going to affect our trip. Honestly, every person we encountered such as Valentina at breakfast, was friendly and ready to help with a smile. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by rolling vineyards and olive trees that add to the peaceful, scenic atmosphere. We loved the organic approach they take—fruits, vegetables, wine and olive oil from their land were served in their dining room - making every meal feel authentic and fresh. There is also a sandwich shop on the property that makes the most delicious “build your own” sandwiches and the woman working that day gave us honest, good advice on how to build a delicious sandwich. The activities were a highlight of our stay; the wine tasting with Tatsu and cooking class with Enrico and Franchesca were both fantastic, informative and entertaining! We learned so much about the property’s wine and pasta making. We only wished we could have participated in the olive oil testing and truffle hunting (which were not available during our stay but we heard they are also fabulous). Since we were there in late October, the pool was closed for the season. We stayed in a deluxe suite (apartment) in a separate building; though rustic, it was clean and had good views. If you’re looking for a unique, memorable experience in Tuscany, we highly recommend Fattoria Lavacchio!

Lovely stay in the middle of the Tuscany hills. The views, the pool area, the rooms and overall comfort were great. And fabulous breakfasts!

Lunch time was a bit of a struggle, the food was limited and nowhere to go.

The place is amazing, nice pool, great wine. We loved the breakfast, everything was organic, from their farm. They organized a visit to the winery and wine tasting, which is a must! Highly recommend! We also went horse riding. The room was spacious, the AC was working well. We were in the Junior Suite. There is also a wine shop at the property, where you can buy some local cheese and ham, and even organize a picnic. It was very calm, great place to rest. Also parking is free everywhere. We will be back!

Very minor thing, there is a continental breakfast and they also offer dishes like omelette, pancakes etc. but it's not mentioned anywhere that you have to pay extra for it, so we were paying double for breakfast everyday. Usually it's free at the hotels. Also minibar water is not free, there wasn't any pricelist. They could just add that so people are aware.

Excellent tye junior suite, but it is not divested by walls the bedroom. It is all open space. There is a pool for summer (not heated for winter). Breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly. There are a couple of cats at the courtyard. Great landscape.

You cannot see the animals at the farm. You need to book a private tour for 30 min on a poney at a facility nearby. Too expensive the restaurant (an average of 30 eur per plate) . Way over priced in comparison to local restaurants.

The surroundings were stunning. Peaceful and so beautiful to see. Our apartment was quite even though we had a young family next door, we could not hear them or anyone else. The staff were lovely and always happy to help you. Christian in particular was very lovely, friendly & super attentive!!
