Staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Barbara was exceptional. The staff during our private dinner was attentive but not overbearing. The ambiance was breathtaking.

Amazing location and accomodation

Outside was stunning and the views over Florence were amazing. We got so many lovely photos which made our stay feel special. The breakfast was excellent too. The room was comfortable but a bit of a style cliche, with coloured led lights all over the place. The circular bed was huge! A good honeymoon suite!

The toilet was in a cupboard, next to the shower with a glass wall, inappropriate for teenage children. The jacuzzi was in the bedroom too and took up half the space. The toilet took half an hour to refill and the WiFi wouldn’t connect.

Nothing, as it was not the type of accommodation I was looking for

There was a weird vibe going on, if the management wanted to promote the property as haunted then it should have been noted in the description. There was not any drinking water or coffeemaker in the room. Very poorly planned, not worth the money charged for the room.

The hotel/B&B is not finished. There is work everywhere and it feels unsafe, especially for a single traveller. You do not feel like there is anyone there and it is not easy to get there other than with a car. The room was clean and fine, the air conditioning was good, and the staff were helpful. However the decor was unattractive and most particularly it was dedicated to Mussolini which was very surprising.

The hotel was nothing like advertised. It was run down with no facilities and we saw no staff after check in for three days.

The experience was truly disappointing. We ran out of water in the room (shower and sink) in the morning, and when we called reception, the response was "there's nothing we can do." The jacuzzi wasn't working properly; it made a really annoying sound, and when we sat inside, we had to hold our hand up to keep the water in. In the photos, they offer a truly welcoming welcome, with candles, champagne, and petals, but that wasn't the case. They offer free Wi-Fi, but it's not available in the room, only at reception. It's worth noting that we discussed all of this with reception, but they didn't offer any solution.
