Lovely hotel in a gorgeous spot. Very well staffed & good food. Staff tried hard to make the stay special.

The shuttle into town didn’t really drop you anywhere near the tourist attractions. It was about a 1.5 mile or 35 min walk. Very tiring for kids & at the end of the day.

The hotel was very authentically Tuscan & had a lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds. We chose the location as it was outside of Florence but only a 15 minute drive away. Staff were friendly & attentive and helped with any questions we had. Food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and a great taster menu for dinner in the evening. Room very clean & bed extremely comfortable.

There was obviously a loose manhole cover on the road alongside the hotel which made a huge regular noise every time a vehicle went over it. We got used to it but could've done without it! The hotel couldn't be blamed for this but it did initially impact our sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Mulino di Firenze. Set by the river with beautiful views, the rooms are beautiful with everything you need. We had a jacuzzi bath with a lovely view of the river. The terrace restaurant is lovely with delicious food and great service. The staff are amazing ! Andrea and Walter in particular. We stayed with our two small dogs who we welcomed very well. They also have a very helpful guy (unfortunately we don't remember his name ) who comes to the garage where you park your car and carries your luggage for you to and from your room. That was such a nice touch ! The lady who dies the massages at the hotel is very good and very sweet, ensuring a lovely experience. After we left the hotel ( a few days later ) we realised we had left our passports and credit cards with a sizeable amount of cash in the room. We phoned the hotel , they looked in the room, as it had not been handed in and found everything . They handled everything very professionally and the communication was brilliant. They kept it all safe until we drove back and collected everything a couple of days later. We highly recommend this great hotel .

Beautiful river setting. Loved spa, pool, bedroom, breakfast / restaurant room were also lovely. Hotel smelled gorgeous. Staff helpful. Ample car parking. We enjoyed the location with it being out of the busy city.

Bar not staffed very well. Cocktail ingredients ran out which was inconvenient given the hotel's location. Drinks very price. Shuttle bus handy for the daytime, but no evening buses. I think they finished around 7pm which isn't great for evening meal in Florence. We walked home at 10pm on several occasions and it felt / was safe. Also taxi rank near train station in Florence

Lovely hotel, with friendly very engaged staff. The feel was very true to Tuscan Italy, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and the wines too. We loved relaxing by the pool too, which was a nice relief from the heat of central Florence, which was only 15 minutes away.

Whilst we loved the experience, it would perhaps benefit from - a) poolside drinks and snacks b) more regular trips to and from Florence, to a more cental location (the 20 minute walk from the shuttle drop off was a lot in the heat) c) some of the rooms, particularly upstairs, the air conditioning was not sufficient

Having visited this hotel before, I was hoping to use the Hotel's bus/shuttle. Due to 'Tram line 3' roadworks, the shuttle stopped quite a way short of the town centre, so we had to revert to taxis! This was a surprise, and from what I could see, could have gone further towards the city centre. As it costs €5 per head, with four passengers, a taxi works out fairly cost effective.

A few more in room drink options would be nice, although the complimentary water was appreciated!

The staff is amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast, restaurant, and bar are exceptional, highly recommend staying in this hotel, we'll definitely come back!

Room was nice. Staff at reception very nice too. Staff at dinner time could have been a little nicer - there wasnt much service with a smile. But they were efficient. Hotel is very nice. Would have been nicer if it had a gym and an indoor pool. Some Room matters could have been a bit better - example curtains were dated and part of it falling off and was not fixed and hair dryer did not work. but all in all, we still enjoyed ourselves and managed to have a very nice stay

Beautiful property in fantastic location. Facilities were great. Air conditioning was fantastic and rooms were clean and big and comfortable. Staff were also very helpful and gave all the information that we needed. Breakfast was lovely and once again staff very good and made us feel very comfortable. We travelled as a family of 5 with 3 kids and they put us in rooms next door to each other which was perfect.

Bath shower leaked water every shower but other than that the place was perfect.

I was a bit disappointed in the shuttle service. It only goes 6 times a day, at times that weren't convenient for us plus it only drops you off a 25 min walk away from the city center. At that drop off location are also good and cheap parking spaces that are even for free on Sundays. That's why I have to deduct one star, but the hotel is still great!

Great service, amazing staff, nice rooms, possibility to reserve the spa area to yourself, nice pool area. It's a really nice hotel that I can recommend
