Extrodinary experience in Florence. If you are looking for a authentic and quiet place with a warm and welcoming owner you should book a room in Baronessa B&B. Tutti and Franco are both very Kind people who can give you more than a helpfull insight about the City and Italy in general. The room was perfect and in detail furnished. Had a really pleasant stay and World recommend to everybody.

Host Francesco was lovely and helped me with my many questions. There was a lovely breakfast every morning and the accommodation was fantastic. The rooms were designed with an old style flair and very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Francesco. This is by far not meant to be negative comments. It is just for information only. It was a little far from the main attractions but the walk (about 40 minutes) was OK. Not many restaurants really close to accommodation, so eat dinner before you get back of an evening. There may have been more a little closer but you would have to explore. Train station about 20- 25 minute walk.

This B&B is suitable for short stays. The location is safe and quiet, the room was clean and almost everything was there for such a small facility. Bus stop and express market is very close to location.

You should know that main attractions and restaurants are far away from the hotel if you like walking. It would be nice if there is bathroom paper slippers and a breakfast with more options. Still, everything was sufficient.

The bed is comfortable. Location is good - close enough to the District 1 but will need to walk about 20 to 30 minutes. Breakfast is good - felt bad because I was on the go and a person always prepared for everyone. The park and river are closed so I could exercise.

It's on the 2nd floor - which means 3rd floor by US/UK. The elevator for luggage was working. Taxis are impossible to hire without the help of the staff but that's on par with everywhere in Florence. The noise facing the building gets loud late at night or late in the morning, but didn't interrupt my sleep (I wake up at 6)

Francesco was a great host. The facilities were comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Great buffet breakfast provided with choice of sweet and savoury crossaints, fresh fruit, yoghurts and fresh coffee. Francesco was great at giving some recommendations for local restaurants and hotspots. Would definitely stay again!

Not a huge issue but it’s about a 20min brisk walk from central Florence but not an issue for anyone that is capable.

This is one of the most friendly places I have visited so far. Both Titti and Franco made my stay very special and I felt like home. The room was simply amazing, clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were very delicious. The place is close to the city centre, it takes 12 minutes to reach Santa Maria del Fiore by bus. I loved walking by the river, it was very green and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the Ponte Vecchio when walking. Definitely worth the stay, next time I will definitely stay here again.

This BnB was just perfect. There are (only ) four large bedrooms with great bathrooms, so it feels very friendly and very safe. My bedroom (green) has a pretty terrace and was tastefully decorated with proper art and ornaments rather than stock IKEA! The BnB is also extremely well run and the breakfast is great, with a large range of sweet and savoury items. And proper coffee! Franco, the host, was absolutely charming and very helpful. I highly recommend this BnB. Thank you Franco! See you again!

Nothing. Before I arrived “I thought” the location might feel a little far out but it was no problem. A taxi came in 4 minutes, there are buses and walking was easy. It’s only a 30 minute stroll along the river Arno to the Uffizi Gallery.

A very warm welcome from Franco at 4pm, and was given the Monnalisa Room, with a view of the Arno River. Everything was provided, water bottles every day, and wonderful breakfasts. Very comfortable stay, had no problems.

Distance from the centre of town meant a half hour or more walk home after a long day of walking around the town. Difficult to get public transport back. Buses are infrequent and at end of April are packed both in the morning and evening. That isn't the fault of the hotel, though, but the location was the only issue for me.

Francesco is a charming host, passionate about his guest house. He was most helpful with transport queries and local restaurant recommendations. A real highlight are the breakfasts, they were varied and plentiful with good coffee, sociable occasions, enjoyed around a big kitchen table by guests, creating a most homely atmosphere!

The service was exceptional! I am very thankful to Titti and her sons for the special treatment. Francisco in particular went out of his way to make the stay wonderful. He was super kind, shared a lot of valuable information about the city, and was always extremely helpful. Thank you so much!

If you like walking by the river like me, you will not mind the distance from the city center. I really enjoyed the walks!
