Clean room in a very organized camping

Super hot water in bathroom en suite, they have market there (appreciate as location is further from town), many attractions for kids and parking close to cabin. We arrived late so not sure how was pool and did not manage to use all of the services there. It was comfortable to sleep there and super clean. We had cabin without kitchen hence there was super small fridge with freezer that did not manage to keep icecream frozen but that is minor detail.

As it is massive property, staff seemed to be in a hurry to check everyone in and felt a bit like conveyor machine, but either way all information was provided as needed. Shower has matt glass door direct to bedroom and no hooks to hang clothes/towels in shower so take it into consideration if travelling with not so close family or have issues with privacy.

Simple check-in and staff were helpful. Loved the pools, restaurant and bar area, had a really nice chilled out vibe. Staff were fun loving and friendly. Drinks and snacks were well priced and the space was kept clean. Proximity to Florence is fantastic - short hop on local bus or taxi but to have a pool to cool off in after a busy day in the city was welcome. Clean and comfortable chalet accommodation.

The 'superior chalet' lacked many kitchen essentials like a tea towel to dry the crockery, a cloth to wash up with. No kettle to boil water or make a cup of tea or coffee, wasn't easy to self cater with such limited kitchen utensils.

This camping is very comfortable for travelers arriving by car, as it eliminates the stress of finding parking and dealing with ZTL (limited traffic zone) hours. While it is a bit of a long walk to the city center, the property thoughtfully provides a shuttle service to and from the center. There is also a restaurant and a supermarket on the premises, offering a good assortment of options.

However, there are a couple of downsides to note. The last shuttle returns at 18:30, which feels a bit early for those who want to enjoy the evening in the city. Additionally, there is no heating in the toilet and the bathroom, which can feel a bit too cold during winter.

We stayed in a deluxe bungalow for four nights and were very happy with the accommodation. Everything was perfectly clean, well-equipped, and comfortable — from the bedding and air conditioning to the private terrace and overall interior. The on-site restaurant was very good, and breakfast was generous (though repetitive). The market was well stocked and convenient. The staff were kind and helpful at all times, and the location was manageable if you're traveling by car — free private parking was a big plus.

The biggest disappointment was the misleading information about the shuttle service to the city center. The campsite no longer offers a private shuttle for guests, even though it's still advertised on some platforms. Instead, you're expected to take the overcrowded city bus (Line 14), which during peak times is extremely uncomfortable — long waits, packed vehicles, and no air conditioning. This made getting to and from the city center unpleasant, especially during hot summer days. Due to this, we eventually had to drive ourselves and use paid city parking closer to the ZTL area. Also, while breakfast was rich, it lacked variety — every day the same hot dishes (omelette and sausages) without any rotation.

This was my best stay in the entire trip. The campus is huge! They have a market, an amazing restaurant, a swimming pool. People probably usually come there for camping. They have laundry and shower facilities in case people dont opt for rooms with attached bathrooms. There are vending machines. The staff was super approachable, understanding and clear with their instructions. They give a map of the campus and very clearly direct you to your room. The room is in this tent like structure and is super cosy, romantic, with comfortable beds...side pouches to keep stuff, J hooks to hang clothes. There is a clothes stand just outside the tent to hand towels/washed clothes. Super hot water, clean bathrooms. Perfect location with the bus stop right outside the campus. Bus no. 14 comes to that bus stop and connects us to the center!

I liked everything. Would love to go back there.

The facilities on site were great, two swimming pools and a kids splash zone, reasonably priced supermarket on site, restaurant and launderette. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom cabin with living kitchen area which had all the cutlery, glasses and pans and clean sheets and towels provided, which felt like a good size in preference to hotel room. There was a hob top, microwave and full size fridge. Was a lovely tranquil spot next to the arno river and although campsite was busy, we felt it adequate for our needs.

The bus is 30-40 mins out of city centre, which wasn't a problem but there was no shade at bus stop in heat and the buses were always overcrowded and delayed. They advertise a shuttle service but there was just the public bus.

We stayed in one of the tents at Hu Camping Firenze and overall had a really cool experience. The camping itself has a fun and youthful vibe, with plenty of green space and a laid-back atmosphere. One of the highlights was the free access to the pool, which was a huge plus during the hot summer days – a perfect place to relax after sightseeing in Florence. The tent was well set up and had air conditioning, which was essential. Just a heads-up: if you turn it off, the heat builds up really fast, so we ended up keeping it on most of the time, even at night. One quirky detail: every morning, we were woken up by the Italian national anthem coming from a nearby military base. It was unexpected, but kind of added to the whole unique experience – you definitely know you're in Italy! All in all, a great place for travelers who enjoy a mix of nature, comfort, and a bit of adventure. Would recommend it for a few nights’ stay, especially if you like something a little different from the usual hotel experience.

The location is not so close to the city center and the bus line to the city has a strange schedule.

We had such a great time at this campsite! First off—the staff were super duper nice and friendly. Honestly, they made the whole experience even better. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The market on-site was surprisingly affordable — way cheaper than we expected for a campsite. Huge bonus when you’re trying to keep things budget-friendly! The campsite has a convenient laundry room, perfect for keeping your clothes fresh — especially handy if you're traveling across different cities or countries in Europe. It’s a lifesaver for longer trips when packing light! The bus stop is literally right at the main gate, which made getting around super easy. We loved that we didn’t have to walk far or deal with complicated transfers — just hop on and go! They also offer bike rentals, which was a fun way to explore, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing after a hot day. Plus, the restaurant on-site had great food, which made it easy to grab a bite without leaving the campsite. And get this — we were allowed to check in almost 4 hours early! That level of flexibility is rare, and it made a huge difference in starting our stay off on the right foot. If you’re on the fence — don’t think twice. Just book it. It’s got everything you need and more. We’d definitely come back in a heartbeat.

Facilities were very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped Location for us was great, able to walk into town in a hour and 10 minutes (brisk walk) accessible on the bus easy enough considering we travelled with two young children both using prams Breakfast included was nice, only issue we faced was my daughter has an Egg allergy and people were mixing the serving spoons in Egg then contaminating other foods she could have, thankfully she didn’t suffer any reactions.

Pool was freezing so our children didn’t get full enjoyment out of using it, they would of loved more time to spend round the pool but was just too cold for them
