The hotel was in a great convenient location. We could walk to town. We could walk to the beach. There was a co-op and a pantry store within 1 minute walk. I thought it was perfect. They also allow pets. I met some very nice doggies and some very nice people. The other guests there. Most of the complaints on the sites that I've seen are people who think that the swimming pool's open, but it is clearly stated over and over again that it is not. But you do not need a swimming pool in Port Townsend. It is on the Puget sound and to sit all day in an indoor swimming pool would be a waste of a trip in my opinion.

I didn't like that. Port Townsend was so busy. It was hard to get hotel reservations so we only could get Thursday and Friday booked in but then the hotel was so nice. They reached out to me when they had a cancellation and fixed me up with the perfect room for less of a price than I paid on Friday because I was a return guest. They actually took the time to call me and let me know that my phone charger was in there. So what I didn't like is that it was hard to get a reservation cuz the place is so busy but other than that it was exceptional

I had the best room in the place. Jacuzzi tub, king bed. The check in was smooth and friendly. I truly appreciate how one of the front desk staff went out of their way to make a list of nearby restaurants and things to do (as a result I had the BEST vegan crab cake burger at Tommyknockers!).

The pillows were too hard and too thick. I would recommend having a mix of different pillows (an old hotel trick) because every guest is different. Also the pool was closed (I have yet to go to a hotel with an open pool, so it's common).

Port Townsend Inn is a very good value for the money. It's conveniently located near a food co-op and several dining options. It was exceptionally clean. If traveling with a pet, you'll stay on the first (of two) floors, which is great for avoiding stairs with your dog. My room had two places to work remotely: a regular small table with a chair and a higher buffet style table with two stools. If I stay in town again, I'll stay at this inn.

I hadn't planned on enjoying it, but as other reviewers noted, the pool is closed.There's plenty of parking spaces but they're a little tight if you have an over-sized vehicle.

Very good value. Someone has thought hard about how to upgrade an older property and done a very good job of it. We loved the room lighting - you could actually see what you were doing. The heating worked well and was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good and there was a good supply of hot water. The historic old town is a short walk away - we walked there and back, even in the dark. The room was quiet at night despite being just off the highway.

I wish there had been a nightstand or shelf on both sides of the bed (only one was provided).

no frills, clean room, friendly staff, and decently walkable to downtown. ample free parking and is right next to a convenience store and a nice grocery co-op. definitely a good affordable option for a quick trip to Port Townsend.

accommodations and amenities are a bit basic, but you have everything you'll need for a stay. while the distance from downtown isn't bad, the area immediately around the hotel isn't the most pedestrian friendly

All good for me

The hotel was older, and a bit worn. The room, however, was quite comfortable and clean. My visit was very relaxing and pleasant. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I was concerned about noise as the location seemed to be busy with a McDonald's right across the street. No, was still quiet even with windows open. I would visit again and would recommend.

The property is perfectly located, very quiet and very clean. The only thing that was not working properly was the tv, but it had nothing to do with the equipment, maybe just the signal. I will go back and recommend this facility to family and friends.

Not that I did not like, but there is room for improvement for the provided towels (should be bigger) and the champion and conditioner, very little

Clean, great location, nice amenities, comfortable. For an inn/motel, it was fabulous and the price is great. Mini splits in the rooms made for comfortable sleeping, rooms were clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, blankets were warm, bathroom didn’t have mold, all appliances and outlets worked. Microwave included! The front desk staff was clear, professional, pleasant, and the key return was easy.
