As are all the hotels/motels in Port Townsend, the Water Front Inn was an older type of facility. That said, the rooms were nicely decorated and furniture was in good shape. The bed was VERY comfortable, the shower water pressure wonderfully strong. Large TV included DirectTV and choices of channels, and easy access to the Guide, were far better than most hotels larger hotel chains I've stayed at. Windows are well sound-proofed; my room was closest to the street and even on a rainy, windy night it was comfortably quite. Although is is an older hotel, I was very pleased with the room, the location is perfect for easy access to the downtown area, and a great value!

The staff was so helpful and courteous. We had asked if it was possible to have some outside chairs for the balcony and when we arrived, they were in the room, clean and in excellent condition! Awesome view of the bay and very close and easy to get into downtown. We will stay here again

The only downside would be there was some mold around the tub where it meets the walls and there wasn't really any hooks or bars to hang your bathroom towels on.

The showers I took were wonderful-what great water pressure! The bed was quite comfortable and once I got the hang of running the TV with the remote, no worries! I did not avail myself of the microwave, refrigerator, or other furniture in the room. And the in-room coffeemaker was very welcome in the morning!

The phone being on the blink was easily ignored, but going up and down the stairs to the 2nd floor was hard on these old legs. An elevator would have been nice. Or a room on the ground floor.

The location of the hotel was excellent. There were restaurants within walking distance. Being on the beach front, the sunrises were wonderful to see. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The woman at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Great customer service, friendly and willing to help. She fixed my seatbelt that was not working properly.

I was on the bottom floor. This is a public access beach and if you keep the curtains open, people do walk by.

The room was good-sized, and the bathroom with shower was very comfortable.

It was unseasonably cold outside. The room was not heated when we arrived; after raising the thermostat, it took well over 6 hours for the room to heat up. Once it reached a warm temperature, the room was quite comfortable. The two staff members that checked us in and out were efficient, but not personable.

I enjoyed falling asleep listening to the crashing waves right outside my window and showing my daughter all the boats coming and going from the harbor.

A few scraps of trash were discovered under our bed by my two year old, who almost put them in her mouth. We brought the items in question to the front desk and informed the staff of the incident.

The little balcony was very nice! And the view from there and out the windows was very scenic. It overlooked the harbor area which was beautiful! The room was comfortable.

No elevator to the 2nd floor. I have a handicap and stairs are hard. However I was able to make it work fine.

The view is always exceptional... this is our second stay and won't be our last. It is right off the main road to everything you want to do but you don't get traffic noise. On our second floor we can leave the patio door cracked and listen to the waves as we doze off.... perfect!

The outside area could be better maintained. It is in more of a business type area but that doesn't mean the exterior areas can't be kept up.

Bed was comfortable and loved having the balcony. Right on the water was wonderful. No breakfast but good coffee was available.

Room only had two paper cups….for two people. Water glasses would have been nice to have. Had to ask for more.

Property was clean, room was adequate, view was wonderful. Tub/shower was new as was the flooring. Parking was easy. High value.

Room took a couple of hours to warm up, room was smallish and pillows were very firm. Otherwise, all was good.
