The King Room we booked (not the Suite, just the normal one) was huge! There was plenty of parking. The building in the back, where our room was, was so quiet at night that we could hear the frogs outside. The property was nicely maintained, although they were in the process of fixing the pool. It is easy to access & surrounded by beautiful trees. Great value! It was a better experience than I expected at this price point & that meant we could afford to do more while we were in town, like seeing the mastodon fossils at the local museum!

I would guess that the rooms have not been renovated since the 1990’s, but everything seemed well maintained. If you don’t mind roadside inns/motels, this should be fine for you.

The location is great, just off the main highway (there was road works going on, but they sign posted the detour extremely well) It's a very typical roadside Motel, but it's run by people who are clearly good at it, and it shows. The place is clean, comfortable, and feels like a place you'll be happy to spend the night at. Absolutely extra credit to the manager for opening up for us to check in when we arrived super late. The rooms are tidy, clean, and the beds comfortable. The heating worked very well. Water pressure was reasonable, and hot water worked well. WiFi was good too.

Nothing that we didn't expect from a standard motel.

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful owners/staff, rural quiet area.

TV reception was iffy...the screen would pixelate on stations I prefer making them unwatchable - I didn't say anything to the front desk as I think this is a cable issue. Sorry that the restaurant on the property has closed and hope they can find new tenants to reopen it eventually.

I really appreciated how friendly the staff was. When I arrived I was greeted by a very warm and welcoming front desk person. I don't always experience that when I stay other places. I work at a hotel myself and I know the importance of good customer service. This gentleman NAILED it! The accommodations were basic, but that's all I needed. I also had a large dog and I appreciated how sound proof the room was because he will bark at every little sound. The price was also AMAZING!!!

My only complaint is not having a food delivery service in the area (which is not the hotels fault)

I really appreciated how willing the staff was to help and be there for me and my partner when we stayed multiple times. They even managed to allow us to check in early due to a scheduling issue. Rooms always clean and they always offer extra towels!

That I'm not able to stay more often! The Trousdale family loves staying every chance they get. See ya soon!

The price is perfect for my very low budget when I travel. It is always quiet here. Every time I travel to Sequim I always stay here I hqve never had any issues and I visit up there quit frequently.

The road construction can be anoying pulling in and pulling out. Everytime I go there the property looks like under remodel and cant waite to see it finished.

We love staying here. Have never had an issue. Prefer the upstairs jacuzzi suite, and they do their best to accommodate . Our rooms have been comfy and clean.

Been staying here for over 20yrs prior owners were great . But tbh the decor has never changed. Now, there are Sketchy ppl walking behind you that apparently live on site. Dated living room areas (we never use), but if its fully booked all the time, a new set of curtains would be great!! Sometimes, the owner can be short, and it can come across badly. But, he always says thank you! Lol

The staff was very accommodating to our needs, was very quiet, clean and spacious. Would recommend it to all types of travelers.

There was construction going on but that has nothing to do with the Lodge. It was still quiet. So really nothing bad about it.

Staff were so nice and helpful. They put our whole group in nearby rooms so we could visit on the back grassy area. A deer came to join us at one point.

Mattress was a bit used up. Was sad to learn the pool may never open again due to the cost of meeting new accessibility rules.

Was a great option at a low price to be near Port Angeles & my angry children!:)(

Noisy highway, but it was ok, I did like the view in the back and the fun bird nest just above my rooms doorway and fun noisy little birds!
