The location was perfect! The property is well maintained and clean. The hotel itself is old. There is a musty smell in the room - most likely old carpet and drapes. Overall, after I squeezed my lemon in my cup and kept it on my bedside table, the smell didn’t bother me. I am sensitive to smells so this may not bother others like it did me. The sheets and bed were clean and cozy. I did leave my own pillows at the property and hope to retain those soon. The staff is friendly and helpful! Cleaning crew was polite and caring. Water pressure is good, quiet property altogether. I will stay here again as I travel up Sequim to visit my auntie often. AC was awesome!

The musty smell in the rooms

We travelled to Sequim for my Mom's memorial service and the Olympic View Inn was the perfect place to stay. When we needed extra parking our last night there because of a U-Haul trailer we had rented, Amy at the front desk helped to accommodate us! I highly recommend this motel and will be staying there again on our next trip up!

Clean, affordable, comfortable and friendly. The room was larger than expected, had pretty much every amenity I could think of, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful at check-in too, and even gave me a list of the different eateries in town and their closing times. I really enjoyed my stay here. No complaints!

Great location, excellent staff and they provide pet friendly accommodation!

The pet friendly room smelled a bit like dog pee, I think maybe because they have carpet on it? I would’ve loved to see the pet friendly rooms with ceramic to make them more hygienic, but for the rest, this is a great deal.

Great location for just about anything you want to do in Sequim or Port Townsend even Port Angeles. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our stay. It was also very quiet. You don’t hear your neighbors talking or their tv’s either. Parking is no problem since they have a large parking lot. No charge to park either. This is our second stay here and both times have been great.

We didn’t find anything to not like. Everything was just as we expected.

Great location for exploring the beaches and access to the ferry to Victoria BC. The property was clean and very quiet, even at night there was no noise. The bed was comfortable and the room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. The property looks as though it was recently updated with fresh paint and new carpets. The bathroom was clean and no mold anywhere. Easy check in and check out. Parking is provided and was safe. It isn’t super fancy but it met all our needs and we would definitely come back.

The only thing we saw that could be improved were the cigarette butts littering the property adjacent to our room. There is no smoking in the rooms so I guess some guests think it is ok to just smoke outside and then discard the cigarette butts on the ground.

We did not eat at the property. This was a very nice place to stay. Nice rooms, clean and great location for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I really can not think of anything that we did not like. Very easy to get to and parking was very easy. Requested a ground floor room and they accommodated.

Clean large room with spacious bathroom, plenty of counter space. The room was large, and quiet, even though pretty close to main road. There was an ample lot in back to exercise our dogs, and the hotel staff were friendly and efficient

My only issue was the water pressure, a bit screwy in the shower. However, it didn't detract too much from the overall comfort and convenience the Olympic View in has. Bonus, it's a block away from a well stocked Safeway!

Bed was comfortable! The room was good size.

Didn't the other room I booked for my daughter and son-in-law because the beds were full size not queen. Also had to cancel one of the rooms I booked for my son and his partner because of an unforeseen problem, it was less than 24 hours before, they said because I booked it through Booking.com they couldn't refund the room at all and so lost the whole amount. They said next time to book it through Expedia.com or through them directly and then I could've gotten a refund.

Daniel at the front desk has always been super kind and helpful. My wife and I used to be locals on the peninsula and this is our favorite place to stay in Sequim on a budget. It’s safe, clean, great location for downtown, and a great value overall. I wouldn’t book anything else in the Port Angeles/Sequim area for just a nice comfortable night at a hotel while traveling. It’s always nice knowing we have a good hotel to stay at out here when we visit. Thanks Daniel!
