As are all the hotels/motels in Port Townsend, the Water Front Inn was an older type of facility. That said, the rooms were nicely decorated and furniture was in good shape. The bed was VERY comfortable, the shower water pressure wonderfully strong. Large TV included DirectTV and choices of channels, and easy access to the Guide, were far better than most hotels larger hotel chains I've stayed at. Windows are well sound-proofed; my room was closest to the street and even on a rainy, windy night it was comfortably quite. Although is is an older hotel, I was very pleased with the room, the location is perfect for easy access to the downtown area, and a great value!

Stayed in a balcony room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and looked as though it had been recently renovated. The view was outstanding, overlooking the water. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sailboats go by. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was in town, on the waterfront, near several restaurants and shops withing easy walking distance. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, but using the stairs is healthier anyway.

Simple, clean, great location. Staff was kind and accommodating. I was able to get into the room an hour early to set up a surprise for my fiance and I was very grateful. Room was clean and comfortable. Small issues with the TV remote, we just downloaded the app on our phone.

No elevator. I am disabled and stairs can be challenging. However, I knew ahead of time and made sure to make as few trips as needed. I did not inquire about a 1st floor room, I would recommend this if you are concerned.

It's an older building, but the room interiors were upgraded with comfortable bed and pillows, light fixtures had charger ports, plumbing fixtures modern, good water pressure, not too noisy. Staff was helpful and pleasant. It was right on the harbor so enjoyed the sounds of water lapping at shore and gulls screeing.

A snack vending machine in addition to the soda machine, and stock the soda machine with bottled water.

The location was easy to find and close to amenities. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and my gosh the best bath I've had in a long time. We loved that it was so close to the water.

The only downside is I wish we had gotten a water view and the stairs were difficult especially since the reservation was made including an infant, the 3rd floor was a big climb.

Balcony, heater worked well, view was great, super location.

Missing table that was in room picture when I registered, and that was there on previous visits. Registration staff unable to resolve or provide any adjustment. Small frig was on floor not on table. Faucet made loud noise when used. No place to hang towels to dry during our 3 night stay.

The staff was so helpful and courteous. We had asked if it was possible to have some outside chairs for the balcony and when we arrived, they were in the room, clean and in excellent condition! Awesome view of the bay and very close and easy to get into downtown. We will stay here again

The only downside would be there was some mold around the tub where it meets the walls and there wasn't really any hooks or bars to hang your bathroom towels on.

The room was good-sized, and the bathroom with shower was very comfortable.

It was unseasonably cold outside. The room was not heated when we arrived; after raising the thermostat, it took well over 6 hours for the room to heat up. Once it reached a warm temperature, the room was quite comfortable. The two staff members that checked us in and out were efficient, but not personable.

I enjoyed falling asleep listening to the crashing waves right outside my window and showing my daughter all the boats coming and going from the harbor.

A few scraps of trash were discovered under our bed by my two year old, who almost put them in her mouth. We brought the items in question to the front desk and informed the staff of the incident.

The little balcony was very nice! And the view from there and out the windows was very scenic. It overlooked the harbor area which was beautiful! The room was comfortable.

No elevator to the 2nd floor. I have a handicap and stairs are hard. However I was able to make it work fine.
