The view on the water side is great. Restaurant and walking paths nearby.
They have hidden charges they don't tell you about. I have been going about monthly for the last five months. I just realized that my bill ends up about $80 more than the math. They charge "resort fees" daily, and a "services fee" daily. Not sure what those are for since I didn't go anything extra. They don't serve breakfast, and for anyone handicapped they have no elevator. Love the room and the view, but I won't be using them anymore. It's the principle of the thing for me, when they throw in hidden fees.

We stayed for two separate nights at the beginning and end of a weeklong camping trip in Olympic National Park. The location of this property is excellent. The views from the water view rooms we got were incredible. Staff was pleasant. Laundry facilities were appreciated. Mini fridge and microwave were handy! The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. Pool was a nice touch.
Despite the high prices and recent remodel, It is not a super fancy or upscale hotel, and the cost for a room on a summer weekend was high. Cleaning was decent. The main areas were quite clean. There was dirt in a few corners and tub was a bit brown. For me this was not a big deal. I have lots of grace for the cleaners; they were short staffed and working very hard! The property in general definitely has some musty issues; coffee maker smelled of mildew and the ac heater unit was a bit musty too. I am very allergic to mold and can spot the tiniest amount. I had a small respiratory reaction to the rooms each time, but not bad. Despite this I enjoyed my stay and we’d return on a similar trip!

The sea-view, King bed, second floor room was very clean, spacious, and had newer carpeting. The bed was firm and comfortable, the appliances were newer, and there are modern outlets. The view is beautiful, and the private deck with two chairs and a side table was a definite bonus. Convenient locations of beverage and ice machines. Access to rooms, building, and pool/sauna are card access for added security. The office staff was friendly and helpful with an easy check-in/check-out process. Housekeeping was polite and friendly as well. We will be staying here again when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of the deck. The attached restaurant has fantastic food.
Unfortunately, there are no elevators (to their credit, the staff tells you this and asks if you want 1st or 2nd floor at check-in). The bathroom, while clean, needs updating. The toilet sits very low to the ground, the shower head is not adjustable, and the tub drain would barely open, causing standing water while showering.

Room was clean. Info on local sites and recommendations exceeded expectations. Location to ferry to Victoria and to restaurants is unbeatable. Super close to a grocery as well.
They were down in staff, so no maid service, extra towels, etc unless you asked, but the staff that did work was extra kind and helpful. It just took a little more patience. Also - spend a little extra for a room with a view. If I had been able to plan earlier and reserved a room overlooking the water - huge PLUS! Do it!

We had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The area felt safe and peaceful, with stunning waterfront and ocean views right outside the hotel. One highlight was the nearby restaurant (just a 5-minute walk) serving some of the best oysters we've ever had. We were traveling with our parents, and they kept asking why we only booked one night. They genuinely didn’t want to leave! Unfortunately, our Olympic Peninsula road trip schedule didn’t allow for more time here.

The location was amazing, right along the beach. In the biggest town on the Olympic Peninsula, which makes travel easy. A very nice restaurant. French toast breakfast highly recommended.
The jacuzzi was closed. I have a personal policy against giving 10/10s to any location that adverses a jacuzzi but fails to notify ahead of time if it will be closed. Emails stated that the whirlpool would be closed until November 2024, and we stayed June 2025. All else was very good.

I really liked the view of beach and water. The staff seemed nice. Our room was clean and beautiful.
It would be nice if there was some kind of private patrol or city security around the hotel property. We paid extra for the room with a beach view but had to deal with out -of- control teenagers , and homeless transients yelling obscenities and exposing themselves inappropriately right in full view of our balcony. One of these same indiviuals stole from the coffee shop and was attempting to steal from a gift shop we visited. He seemed to be very aware that there was zero police or security presence . This is a safety issue for those of us who pay to stay.

Updated room with new flooring. Large vanity area with lots of light. Cute forest mural on the wall. Mattresses felt on the softer side to us, there were lots of pillows and soft bedding. We stayed with our dog and it was great to be able to walk along the water and on the piers.
Quite a long wait at check in. I was a little surprised they weren't prepared for a Friday evening rush. We were on the bottom floor of the annex and our window looked onto the center of the parking lot which was different from the pictures when we booked. We only stayed one night so not a big deal but it could be a bummer if you're staying for an extended period, might be worth upgrading to a room higher up or facing the water.

We had a lower level, harbor facing room. It was remodeled and beautiful. The room was very large with plenty of space. At the end of each bed, there was a large bench. Large TV on large console that housed a mini fridge and storage. Headboards had reading lights. There was a second sink/vanity area just outside of the bathroom. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. There is a walking/biking trail between the patio and the harbor that was pretty active. There are lots of great food options nearby.
The sliding glass door to our covered patio area needs replacing. It was extremely hard to open. The railing on the patio was holding on for dear life and ready to fall off. Parking was hard to find a spot. Whoever was in the room above us was pacing their room for hours and the room soundproofing could be better.

We stayed in the room that did not have balcony. Room was very spacious. Space to hang coats and backpacks. There was also a long counter/dresser that extended almost the length of the room. Great storage.
The only thing that I didn't like was that our room wasn't serviced until late in the day, like after 4:00pm. Sometimes not until after 5. This wouldn't hinder me from staying there, just something to mention.
